I haven't done one of these in a while. Here we go:

Cut
WR Harry Douglas (1 year remaining on contract, savings of $4.5 million with a dead cap hit of $733k)
S Da'Norris Searcy (2 years remaining on contract, savings of $14 million with a dead cap hit of $3.375 million)

Restructure
CB Jason McCourty - We cut a little off of his salary but give him some guaranteed money. We owe him almost $7 million but none of that is guaranteed.

Extensions
G Quinton Spain - I believe we need to lock him up. He is one of the most underrated players on the team. Locking him up will allow us to focus on Lewan next offseason before he becomes a FA in 2019.

Resign
LB Sean Spence - 1 year deal (depth and nickel LB)
S Damion Stafford - I believe he has a role on special teams and can spot start. He may want a new situation.
DL Karl Klug - This is a tough one. His injury scares me but I have no doubt he can recover and continue being a 3rd down pass rusher.
OL - Brian Schwenke - Depth. Can play G and C.
TE Phillip Supernaw - His penalties frustrate me but its hard to imagine him not being back.
OL Bryon Bell - Depth (depends on his recovery)
QB Matt Cassell - Id expect them to bring in another QB via FA or Draft due to Mariotas injury.

Key Free Agent Signings

WR Kenny Stills - There was a report that the Dolphins want to resign Stills but in the end, I dont think it happens. They have an emerging Parker and they spent a 3rd on Carroo. I think this is the exact type of WR the Titans need. Chocolateman has been the biggest voice on this sub in regards to a WR and I think he is right. WR is not going to be a huge need for us. We dont need a number 1 WR. I think Stills adds a great compliment to Sharpe and Mathews. It also allows us to attack our secondary in the draft. Maybe allowing us to take BPA at 18.

CB Logan Ryan - This makes all of the sense in the world. There is the obvious Jon Robinson connection. Jon Robinson has been pretty obvious that he was in love with Ryan coming out of college due to his analytics. Ryan also comes from a winning team. And oh yeah, we need a lot of CBs.

Possible under the radar signings-
CB Prince Amukamara - Alterative to Ryan.
WR Cordarrell Patterson - How high of a priority is a return specialist?
WR Brice Butler - Does he resign with Dallas
WR Terrence Williams - Same situation as Butler but Williams will cost more.
WR Quinton Patton - depth but dealing with injury
TE Mychal Rivera - Need TE Depth.
DB Jahleel Addae - depends how high we have safetys in the draft ranked.
LB Kevin Minter - If we dont resign Spence.

Note- - I know this isnt the FA signings most want but its realistic. I think we stick to our plan of building through draft and bringing in contributors through FA with good contracts. I know people want Berry but I just cant see us making that move.

NFL Draft

1(5) - DB Jamaal Adams LSU - I think we try to trade down but we can't find any takers. I think trading down from 18 is much more realistic. That being said, we get an elite playmaker in our secondary. The debate between Hooker and Adams will be one to watch. Both are amazing and I think we cant go wrong with either. It reminds me of the Earl Thomas/Eric Berry draft.

1(18) - DB Sidney Jones UW - Jones may be my second favorite CB in the draft behind Lattimore. I think he would be a perfect fit. He is good in man and shows he isn't afraid to tackle.

3(19) - LB Anthony Walker Northwestern - Speedy ILB. He had a crazy good Soph year before falling a bit this year. Apparently it had something to do with him bulking up and loosing some speed. I think if we can find a sweet spot between his weight and speed, he can be very good. (I still think we should've drafted Deion Jones last year)

3(36) - WR Amba Etaa Tawo Syracuse - He only has one good year of production but he can really do it all. He was a transfer from Maryland where he had 500 yards as a true fresh. He put up great stats with the terrible Cuse QBs. He had 5(!!!) TDs against Pitt this year. Dude is a freak. Before the senior bowl, he was mentioned as a late round player but I wouldn't be surprised if he didnt get drafted much earlier than 3rd.

Wrap up
I went with key FA signings and draft picks because it really is early in the process. But I think this is very realistic while also adding a lot of talent to our team. Tell me what you think!

love it.

Would maybe go with a different WR at the bottom of the 3rd. I also wouldn't be opposed to taking a TE or a receiving RB in the 3rd.

3rd round may be early for Etaa Tawo but I love his play. He hasnt had the best senior bowl but he was grabbing his hammy during the 3rd practice.

Ideally, I want Curtis Samuel. But he is going in the 2nd round. I think he could be a playmaker from RB and WR for us.
