Pats are believed to be interested in CB Sherman. They'd only pursuit him iglf Butler leaves. Crazy offseason.

Do they have any picks left to trade? A low third doesn't seem like enough.

Seahawks are said to want a very good player AND a high draft pick for Sherman. I think we pass.

3 way trade.

Browns: Get Garropolo
Seahawks: Butler and the 12
Pats: Sherman and the 33.

That's the only path imo. It's not horrible. Sherman is an upgrade for Butler. But it means we are essentially trading Jimmy for the 33. Maybe Seattle sends in a 2nd or 3rd to Cleveland to sweeten the deal.

I'm not a fan of that really. We lose butler and Jimmy for Sherman and the 33rd pick. I'd rather keep them both of even I'd rather swap the 12 for Jimmy and keep butler.

I rather keep butler and trade jimmy for #12.

10 days for the deadline for Butler. I'd imagine the Sherman news was the Patriots checking in before they signed Gilmore. I can't see a trade with the Seahawks happening, unless we were to lose Butler.

Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up with the Pats. The Rutgers/non-Rutgers ratio in the secondary has become frightfully low after Ryan left.

Plus...how often do identical twins end up playing on the same team? Would be fun.

Would be super fun, they've always seemed like they had a pretty cool relationship/public presence.

No idea what he's like as a player, or how much he would cost, but it would be a fun story.

He is a smart and physical player but the groin injuries have cost him a couple steps in the speed and coverage department. I think a move to safety would be the best thing for him.

Amendola has agreed to a reduced contract per Field Yates:

Source: Patriots WR Danny Amendola has agreed to a reduced contract for 2017. Was scheduled to make $6M. More details as they come.

Great news. Amendola has been a key part of our offense when healthy and come up incredibly clutch for his entire career on this team.

Amendola is the man. Hope he never pays for another drink in New England for as long as he lives. Keeps taking pay-cut after pay-cut.

Such a bummer that he's been hampered so much by injuries. Would absolutely be an 80 catch/year WR with Brady if he wasn't perpetually crippled

We cut OG Tre Jackson and resigned Matt Lengel.

Nice to see Lengel get resigned; he was a solid blocker.

Sucks that we had to drop Jackson. His knee must really be shot

And I was mocked last summer for suggesting 2 of Mason/Stork/Jackson could be gone by 2017

Didn't really understand the Jackson pick, and he didn't show too much when healthy. No loss there with Thuney holding down LG

So much news today.

Sources say the Bills will not match Pats offer to RB Gillislee.

Pats have agreement with Saints to send Butler for 32nd pick.
