A RB to compliment James White is probably my priority #1.

LB to pair with Hightower #2. Becomes #1 if Hightower walks.

If we get a 1st rounder for Jimmy G... would you take Dalvin Cook?

I would, but Belichick wont. I really doubt he spends a first on a RB. He doesn't believe it makes sense financially.

I think he has the biggest character concerns of any RB in the draft (and doesn't have the spotlight on them that the other prominent guy in that department does). So probably not.

Not a fan of Cook from a personality standpoint. So no, I wouldn't. Not sure Bill would go RB in the first, either.

Hard to really peg rookies when the Pats have so much work to do in FA.

Really hope the Pats aren't tethered to the idea that Shaq Mason is a long term starting RG for this team. The Andrews/Mason combo is pretty shaky.

Possible that Dan Feeney or Forrest Lamp might be available in the second round (64 th pick)

Looking at about 65M in cap space. Could open up a bit more by letting go of Vollmer (2.25), McClellin (1.6), and Amendola (6.375).

This seems to be the general consensus among offseason transactions:

1. New contracts for Hightower (5/56), Bennett (3/18), Butler (5/60), Floyd (2/7), Harmon, Develin

2. Let go of Blount, Vollmer, McClellin, Sheard, Mingo

3. Debate over whether to keep/re-sign Amendola, Ryan, Long, Branch, Bolden

4. Look at FA/Draft for RB, LB, DE; draft for C/OL, CB, TE

I don't see the Pats being big players in FA outside of Hightower and Bennett.

I really want Calais Campbell. Other than that, it should be all about keeping the guys they have (minus Blount), replacing the ones they can't (likely Ryan, maybe Harmon), and loading up on the trenches in the draft. And a bell cow would be nice, this is a pretty nice RB class.

I wonder if they'll have any interest in Latavius Murray. I am sure he'll be out of their price range though. I really hope they don't sign Eddie Lacy.

Can't see us picking up any mildly big name RBs in FA.

I don't know. If Adrian Peterson becomes available, I see a nonzero chance that he comes here for short money.

Discredit Gostowski for having a down year all you want, but he's still a top 5 kicker in this league and they're extremely hard to find.

Not only that, he was a monster on kickoffs last night. The Patriots were taking advantage of the touchback rule change all night and he was placing the kick offs perfectly. Three in the second half he pinned inside the 20. That shouldn't go unnoticed.

I wouldn't have anything to do with the scum bag if it meant we'd get the first 10 picks.

...hope that answers your question Laughing
