if we can't get my Mahomie then I want OJ Howard. I love 2 TE sets, and this team would have been in real trouble without Kelce. Backup TE are trash, and if we keep Alex we know he's better with TE than WR

My draft had OJ and a legit WR. Just saying

Ok, i got bored and did a draft. Post Senior Bowl and Pre Combine. The big boards are updated and I used Fanspeak, 5 rounds.
27: R1P27 LB JARRAD DAVIS FLORIDA; Sr, 6'1", 238
59: R2P27 EDGE JORDAN WILLIS KANSAS STATE; Sr, 6'4", 255
91: R3P27 WR COOPER KUPP EASTERN WASHINGTON; rSr., 6'1", 198
104: R3P40 OT JULIE'N DAVENPORT BUCKNELL; Sr, 6'7", 310
131: R4P26 S JOHN JOHNSON BOSTON COLLEGE; Sr, 6'1", 205
171: R5P26 LB HARVEY LANGI BYU; rSr, 6'2", 252
179: R5P34 DL JOSH TUPOU COLORADO; rSr, 6'3", 362

I liked this one better, using Draftek big board:
27: R1P27 LB ZACH CUNNINGHAM VANDERBILT, rJr, 6'3", 230; best ILB in the draft arguably.
59: R2P27 CB CORDREA TANKERSLEY CLEMSON, Sr, 6'0", 200; national champ CB will help our secondary.
91: R3P27 EDGE JORDAN WILLIS KANSAS STATE, Sr, 6'4", 255; Chiefs need DE improvement, tackling and rushing DE.
104: R3P40W R ZAY JONES EAST CAROLINA, Sr, 6'2", 202; arguably the best WR at the Senior Bowl.
131: R4P26 OT JULIE'N DAVENPORT BUCKNELL, Sr, 6'7", 310; Chiefs gotta have better backup. Jah Reid can be cut to save CAP space.
171: R5P26 S JOHN JOHNSON BOSTON COLLEGE, Sr, 6'1", 205; had a fine Senior Bowl. Could break into our secondary in certain packages.
179: R5P34 DL EDDIE VANDERDOES UCLA, rJr, 6'3", 320; obvious need at DT, especially if Poe is not resigned.

Same here. You would love it Mayan.

27: R1P27 WR COREY DAVIS WESTERN MICHIGAN
59: R2P27 G DORIAN JOHNSON PITTSBURGH
91: R3P27 TE JORDAN LEGGETT CLEMSON
104: R3P40 QB BRAD KAAYA MIAMI
131: R4P26 OT DION DAWKINS TEMPLE

I was not planning on straight offense. I was looking for a CB, a DL and an ILB. I couldn't pass the value.

Picking right behind us, this is what Dallas reaped

28: R1P28 EDGE TAKKARIST MCKINLEY UCLA
60: R2P28 DL ELIJAH QUALLS WASHINGTON
92: R3P28 CB JOURDAN LEWIS MICHIGAN
132: R4P27 WR ARDARIUS STEWART ALABAMA

That's a nice haul but I like ours a lot more.

Sometimes, it's bizarre. My pick for #1 overall falls to #27

27: R1P27 DL JONATHAN ALLEN ALABAMA
59: R2P27 CB TRE'DAVIOUS WHITE LSU
91: R3P27 TE JORDAN LEGGETT CLEMSON
104: R3P40 WR ISAIAH FORD VIRGINIA TECH
131: R4P26 QB NATHAN PETERMAN PITTSBURGH

27: R1P27 TE O.J. HOWARD ALABAMA
59: R2P27 CB ADOREE JACKSON USC
91: R3P27 C ETHAN POCIC LSU
104: R3P40 WR JUJU SMITH-SCHUSTER USC
131: R4P26 DL NAZAIR JONES NORTH CAROLINA
171: R5P26 S JOSH JONES NC STATE
179: R5P34 LB MARQUEL LEE WAKE FOREST
217: R6P32 EDGE TASHAWN BOWERLSU
219: R6P34 CB JOSHUA HOLSEYAUBURN
248: R7P27 K ZANE GONZALEZ ARIZONA STATE

My favorite one so far, was really hard deciding between Howard/Hooker....

Jones, in reality will go no lower than 2nd. round. He's on a rocket up the charts after the Senior Bowl.

Agreed. I debated him at #91.

Is ok, it's just a thing with the "big boards" being behind/late in shuffling the deck so to speak.

Yuck. Love Tabor but not Mahomes in round 2. Don't go there. Round three maybe. What's with Pocic other than being over rated? No one else takes him. Combine lines.

This one looks halfway reasonable.

27: R1P27 CB QUINCY WILSON FLORIDA
59: R2P27 G DORIAN JOHNSON PITTSBURGH
91: R3P27 TE GERALD EVERETT SOUTH ALABAMA
104: R3P40 EDGE JORDAN WILLIS KANSAS STATE
131: R4P26 QB NATHAN PETERMAN PITTSBURGH
171: R5P26 RB MARLON MACK SOUTH FLORIDA
179: R5P34 OT J.J. DIELMAN UTAH

Nice offense/defense balance. Good mid-round QB. Mack in the 5th is a steal.

Mayan was right. Zay went #64 to the Pats.

Used Fanspeak. They seem to have a more realistic big board right now.
1 Jarrad Davis, ILB: Obvious priority need
2 Chris Wormley, DT: Another obvious need - maybe we can slow the rushing down now.
3 Tanoh Kpassagnon, DE: Gimme some pass rush
3 Howard Wilson, CB: rSo. Young, inexperienced, but tools to work with.
4 Brian Hill, RB: Goodbye Knile Davis.
5 Will Holden, OT: Capable backup
5 Danny Isidora, OG: Backup who will push our OG's.

Caveat: I'm looking at Eddie Jackson, S, Alabama as a 3rd. rd. pick. I'd love to put him back at CB where he played originally for Alabama. He'd start and make a great S backup to boot. I just couldn't pick him before Kpassagnon.

Ok, here's a follow up draft for all you Mahomes fans:
1 Patrick Mahomes II, QB: Chiefs QB of the future
2 Jarrad Davis, ILB: Duh pick
3 Eddie Jackson, CB: Start him at CB2 and he can backup Safety
3 Eddie Vanderdoes, DT: well, we got better middle D coverage now.
4 Isaac Asiata, OG: needed improvement and backup
5 Keionta Davis, DE: hopeful pass rush improvement
5 Will Holden, OT: needed improvement and backup

I would not reach like that for Davis. Cunningham, yes.

If they take Mahomes in the 1st, please shoot my cat. I don't want it to starve after my heart attack.

I have not posted one of these in a while. This one works except the first pick will not be available.

27: R1P27 QB DESHONE KIZER NOTRE DAME
59: R2P27 CB QUINCY WILSON FLORIDA
91: R3P27 TE BUCKY HODGES VIRGINIA TECH
104: R3P40 WR ZAY JONES EAST CAROLINA
131: R4P26 C PAT ELFLEIN OHIO STATE
