Mike Williams? Isnt he supposed to go top 10? Strange...

Its a really good year for TEs. I hope we grab one in the mid-rounds.

Hopefully they have an eye on Engram.

Think Reddick might be my favorite of the group as well. Big fan of Basham as well.

I'm guessing it's highly likely we'll get a TE in the first three rounds.

We've met up with Jake Butt, David Njouku, OJ Howard.

Jake Butt with his injury is 4th round material, Njouku is late 1st early 2nd, and OJ Howard is mid 1st.

It's crazy I cant be angry about getting any one of these guys and passing up on the others. such a great top end.

Lets not even leave out engram but we havent interviewed him yet.

Defensive lineman Samson Kafovalu turned a lot of heads with his workout yesterday. The senior measured 6040/299lbs, timed as low as 4.94s on several watches and also completed 33 reps on the bench press. His other marks included 32.5 inches in the vertical jump and 8-foot-8 in the broad jump.

Kafovalu, projected at end in a 3-4 alignment as well as tackle in a 4-3, is drawing strong interest from the Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, San Diego Chargers, Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins.

Quote:
University of Colorado defensive lineman Samson Kafovalu was reinstated for the Buffs' first day of practice Thursday after pleading guilty to one count of obstructing a police officer.

Kafovalu, 22, pleaded guilty to the charge in April and was given a 10-day suspended jail sentence, which he will not serve if he completes the terms of his sentence and does not pick up any new charges in the next year.

He also was ordered to complete 40 hours of community service by the end of this week, pay $35 in fines and complete alcohol treatment.

Kafovalu was arrested in April after bouncers at the Sundown Saloon on the Pearl Street Mall called police after a heavily intoxicated Kafovalu was denied entry into the bar and was being uncooperative, according to officials.

Police said officers tried to get Kafovalu a taxi so he could go home, then offered to take him home. But he continued to be uncooperative and, at one point, "stood up aggressively" and was taken into custody.

After being suspended following his arrest, head coach Mike MacIntyre said Tuesday that Kafovalu had completed the necessary steps to be reinstated to the team.

Kafovalu was also ticketed in 2013 after police said he tried to force his way into a fraternity party and threatened to kill a security guard when he wasn't allowed in.

Kafovalu also was charged with misdemeanor theft in 2012 in a CU police case, according to court records.

He was given a deferred sentence in both instances and the convictions were withdrawn after he completed his deferred judgements.

Question, would anyone be against trading a pick next year to get one this year since Dallas seemingly will have accumulated extra picks (comps) and this year's draft is so deep as well as us having quite a few holes to fill?

Example. trading next year's 3rd and a fifth, for a 3rd this draft?

Generally speaking... not a good idea but it would largely depend what player falls.

Butt for example. Many other first rd talents seemingly who can't all squeeze into rd1, or even 2 IMO.
