This particular mock had pass rushers(in order): Myles Garrett, Takkarist McKinley, Derek Barnett, Taco Charlton, Solomon Thomas, Tim Williams, and Carl Lawson going in the 1st round. 7 pass rushers in the 1st round.

I think you could add Harris and Kpassagnon as possible candidates.

Of those 9 guys... Is there 1 that you are NOT comfortable with at 28? I know Kpass is from a small school but if he blows up the combine he may go from a top 50 guy to a top 30 guy.

I'm not convinced on Tim Williams at the moment. I wouldn't be too happy with him at the moment. And Kpass seems like a reach in the 1st though I am intrigued. Lastly, Lawson is more of a mid 2nd rounder to me.

Garrett, Barnett, and Thomas should all be long gone as they are the clear cream of the crop to me. Would be very happy with Taco, Takk, or Charles Harris with our 1st.

Williams would be a good fit if we were running a 3-4...I don't see him being a 4-3 DE at the NFL level.

Want a Day 3 guy to keep an eye for the Cowboys? Running back Donnel Pumphrey (San Diego State) told the media that he met with the club Wednesday night. Pumphrey is the NCAA's all-time leading rusher and while at the Senior Bowl looked very comfortable returning punts when put in the drills. Team could be looking at him as a replacement for Lance Dunbar

Ha. Funny. Almost took him in the 6th in my last mock.

No way we're in position for Mike Williams.

Westbrook would be a great #2 across from Dez.

If we had Mike Williams and Dez Bryant, Dak would literally just need to throw it high at certain points.

We just need Williams to run a 5.06 tomorrow.

I am Told the #Cowboys had met with #Michigan TE Jake Butt and came back VERY impressed. Seems like a good replacement for Witten.

Baylor WR KD Cannon said he met with the Cowboys. Said most of their questions about picking up their playbook

Butt is my favorite TE in the entire draft. I think he would be the top TE of the last two drafts if not for the ACL tear. Would be a perfect replacement for Witten and we should be able to get him later due to his injury. I wouldn't hesitate using our 3rd rounder on him.

Uh, yeah. He's a carbon copy of Witten.

Nice. He's very raw, but what a mismatch against LBs and DBs.

Lots of WRs and TEs getting interviewed. Screw defense. We can't win the SB scoring 30 points a game with a bad defense. Obvious solution is obvious: Let's score SIXTY points a game!!

Laughing

I think it's likely we don't re-sign Butler or Williams, and who knows how long Witten is going to be around. Sure, we have Geathers...but he's a UDFA, could go either way with him.

never say never on Williams. all it would take is a disappointing 40 time and down he slides.
