#Cowboys meeting w/ #RollTide OLB Ryan Anderson. Guy is put together incredibly well. He must work out.

This I remember from Cotton Bowl.

Obviously looking at pass rushers(for the 3rd draft in a row):

Ryan Anderson:

Quote:
An outside linebacker who is in his fifth season in the program came into his own as a junior in 2015 and is a senior leader on the Alabama defense in 2016 ... a pass-rushing threat and disruptive force for the Crimson Tide ... earned first team All-SEC honors from the Associated Press ... tabbed to the Butkus and Lombardi Award Watch Lists and was a semifinalist for the Butkus ... has 50 total tackles, including a team-high 17.0 tackles for loss (-89 yards) and 8.0 sacks (-61 yards) to rank third on the team ... also added 10 quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles (ranks fourth in the SEC), one fumble recovery and two pass breakups ... his 17.0 tackles for loss rank second in the conference while his 8.0 sacks are ninth in the SEC

Methinks Anderson would play DL in Dallas.

I like Anderson...but I see him as more of a 3-4 LB, but what do I know.

I like Davis as well if we go WR, he'd be a nice compliment to Dez.

I doubt Davis even makes it to 28.

Which means we have to trade up.

Not a chance. By the time April rolls around, I think we are going to laugh at the notion that he might even be within range for a trade up. He's an absolute beast.

But if he does fall within trading distance, Cowboys need to strongly consider it.

DE or DB will almost certainly be the pick at 28. Draft sets up well for us as both of those positions are somewhat deep this draft it appears.

I just hope we re-sign McClain, Church or Wilcox and Mo

I have absolutely no doubt TE and WR will be very much in the mix at 28. To be honest, I bet DE is lower on the Dallas draft radar than what many believe it should be. Actually the only positions I don't see in the cards at 28 are QB, RB, and OL, excluding a RT.

I have a hard time believing they'd take a 4-3 linebacker at #28.

I mean, we have already have Lee and they're moving forward with Jaylon likely being the starter at Mike. We don't utilize the SLB enough to warrant spending a first on it.

I don't believe I have given enough credit to Michigan cornerback Jourdan Lewis. He looks short on tape and in person as well, but he's a really good player. Measuring at 5-10 at the Senior Bowl weigh-in was huge for him in the eyes of scouts from around the league. He is a feisty, competitive corner that doesn't back down from a challenge. His quickness and ball skills are impressive. I could see him going to a club and having a nice career initially playing in the slot then working outside in the future.
