To all my fellow Falcons fans out there.
This team didn't want to win. Congrats to the Pats. _________________ XBL GT: L JGOLD L |

Tough loss guys and gurls. Great season though.
Not sure what Shanahan was doing in the 4th... 3 runs and a FG and you win that.
Good luck next year. |

This team wanted to win but life happened. Life isn't fair and neither is football. These guys played their heart out and didn't get it done. Something I think that everyone at some point in their lives goes through. It's hurting like hell but we'll survive. We'll be back at some point and then we'll be ruthless enough to finish the game in a blowout. |

The team played fine. The play calling was absolute garbage. 3 runs and a FG after the Julio catch and we win. Such a Falcons game. |

I agree. This is the most Falcon's way ever to lose a game. I thought we left this behind when Mike Smith got fired but I guess not. I secretly hope Mike Shanahan is man enough to decline the 49'ers position and now comes back with a vengeance next year and we'll drop 50 burgers on everyone all the way and including the SB.
Not gonna happen though. |

Just echoing what others said. I can't even imagine how you guys feel. And I watched every Broncos SB loss.
Better times ahead eventually, but for now, my condolences. _________________

I am not even a falcons fan and I left the bar with utter disgust. What a shame Matt Ryan just threw the game away at the end. The sack when in fg range was the nail in the coffin for the falcons. A total shutdown from their mvp qb cost them dearly. _________________ The Best that ever did it |

Although I had some tiffs with Falcon fans around these parts over the last 10 days or so, watching the highlights... Matt Ryan and Dan Quinn both handling every question really well with dignified answers and holding their heads high. You've got a good duo there. Impressed with their demeanors.
Rough way to lose, but ya'll will be back. Good luck in the future. _________________

I'm a huge Pats fan, but even I feel awful for you guys. That's one hell of a team, hope you make it all the way back soon. |

More disappointing than the Falcons loss, is how inactive the Falcons forum is on FF. And I thought the Giants forum was desolate. _________________
