They're not firing Pagano.

I mean it should be an option. Telling the new GM he cant bring in his guy doesnt work out well alot of the time.

Yeah. With Grigson gone, Pagano has to at least be evaluated by Irsay and the new GM.
He's been deemed safe by Irsay himself. Really unfortunate for Colts fans.

Keeping Pagano might be already decided if Jimmy Raye is the internal replacement, since Raye & Pagano seem to get along. This would also allow Peyton to learn on the job while Raye holds the fort with that specific understanding in place (easier to arrange internally than find a GM who would sign off on that).

Sounds more like the dreaded vote of confidence to me.

Irsay already said that Manning isn't a GM candidate.

Good for the Colts. Bad for the rest of the AFC.

Terrible, they should have given him at least three more years.

If I recall, the only good player Grigson drafted outside of Luck was TY Hilton, correct me if I'm wrong Laughing

His free agents did him in. Horrible decision on trades and FA. Wasted Luck's rookie contract years.

This guy was terrible at his job, yet seemed to be highly regarded by the media for some reason. The Colts should have got rid of him immediately after he traded a 1st round pick for Trent Richardson.

Of course, there's every chance that Irsay will replace him with someone equally bad.

That's something that happens during the season. Not in week 3 of the playoffs when most candidates are already hired and the GM is already fired.

Some people just felt bad for Millen.
