Wouldn't mind the Dolphins taking a look if he is indeed healthy enough to play... we badly need LBs.

Yep. Young, talented guy who wouldn't take much to sign given his medical situation. No state income tax, a legitimate opportunity to earn a starting spot immediately. Make the phone calls TannenGase.

If your neck has any issues you got to hang it up. Smart move. Wish him luck going forward in whatever he goes into next.

He's un-retiring though. Visiting the Lions tomorrow.

Well at least my post count improved Razz lol.

The old neck isn't that bad lol Laughing Rolling Eyes Seems super risky. If anything is wrong with your neck, you should just stick to like bottle ship making or making fly's for fishing.

If he can play, Lions would be a great fit. I hope he leaves with a contract.

It would really suck for the Ravens if he signed somewhere else...

I highly doubt he's going to get Medically cleared unless something has changed in the past 6 months. Dude was great in pass coverage and if he thinks he can still play with that injury then more power to him.

Just wish he decided to continue his career with the ravens, oh well best of luck to him.

Sounds like he got a 2nd opinion about his neck, and they determined that there wasn't any proof that the neck condition would increase his risk of injury. Though, of course, any neck condition doesn't sound like a good thing for a football player. From what I can tell, the Lions might have more concern with the shoulder he had surgery on than they are with his neck.

But tell me more about his coverage skills...the Lions need cover ability at LB in the worst way

He was a really good coverage LB and knew how to read plays. Article for more detail but if the lions sign him and he can stay healthy, they'll get a very good player.

I doubt he'd go to Detroit and never go back to his home to take care of things before moving. Laughing

Why do you think they say they "locked him up" when they extend a player?

Nothing but we got some info from his agent.

http://www.espn.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/36807/agent-ravens-conflicted-internally-on-whether-to-pursue-zach-orr

15 teams being interested is normally b.s but I don't doubt that many teams reached out to see where he was medically.
