Good way to start our offseason. It was very important not to let him go. Whether or not Mangold is back, our interior is in solid shape

Around $8 million a year apparently, which is kind of what I expected after JR Sweezy set a robust market for RGs last offseason.

I think it's pretty fair in this market.

8 mil a year for a slightly above average guard. Lovely.

He's 25, so this is a pretty good deal . Someone would have offered more. Good start.

Winters is 25, has improved every year of his career, and is coming off a very strong season. I'm happy that bringing him back was a priority.

I wonder what the cap hit is because overthecap.com reported that we were over the cap Laughing

Sorry guys, I hate this. That's a lot of money for a decent guard. Jeff Allen got 7 mil a year last year and graded out as a top 10 guard. I think Winters value was somewhere around 6 mil a year.

Sweezy got 6.5 mil/year and most agreed that it was a massive overpay.

I can see wanting to lock him up, but he better play damn solid for that kind of money. We are going to be clearing a lot of cap space it seems

Great resign. Can't believe people are complaining about the money. Oline should be the top priority and getting young. He does both.
