Well now I read that Travic Kelce had surgery on a shoulder. Just great.
Now we need to draft a TE too
(not excited with the other 3 on the depth chart).
Needs now are TE, RB, backup at OT, OG, NT, 2ILB's, CB.
Even with the extra comp. picks the Chiefs should probably trade down and get an extra 2+3 rd.. Teams go crazy if you dangle a 1st.rd. pick in front of them.

Come on man, really? It's shoulder surgery. He injured his shoulder like a month and a half before the season ended. It wasn't anything serious. And it isn't the kind of thing that lingers and messes with careers or playing time. If it was a knee or ankle, okay, I could get the concern, but it's not.

Now, I'd be fine with drafting a TE, because I'd like at least one reliable backup to Kelce (right now we have nothing but incredibly unpolished athleticism), but to say we need to draft one because of that is silly.

Huh? Yeah right. It just messes with catching (oops, I can't get my arms up), blocking (why did I miss my man and why am I laying on the ground?).
Sorry coach, my shoulder is spaghetti again.

He played in the pro bowl with it being "injured" this is a non issue.

We should have TE on our draft list, but this shouldn't move it up or down the needs list.

So, you think the surgery is going to make the injury that he played through for 2 months without a problem worse? Because those thinks weren't happening from the injury.

You like to overreact? Did he shred his rotator cuff? Andy said he'll be ready, so whats the big goofy reaction for?

Mychal Kendricks name is popping up for trade bait again, should we be interested? I dont think its take a kings ransom. Hes young and not bad on the contract.

Definitely seems like we're taking a very legitimate look at the QBs in the draft this year. Glad to see it. This would be the time to get the heir apparent, in terms of Alex's age and contract situation. And while it's not a great draft for QBs, we don't want a great draft for QBs. A great draft means we don't suck enough to get one.

Evan Engram/TE 4.42/40yd. with 36" vertical.
I'd take that all day. It's the fastest for TE's. So ya know his 10yd. split is awesome. Gimme some quick slant in's !! He's showing up as a 2nd. rd. pick.

Engram is a beast. He proved in 2015 he was a vertical threat leading the nation but when he came back for his senior year in 2016 stronger and more physical proving he could block as well that cemented his status as a top TE prospect and now with this 40 time...I think he will be gone before we pick in the 2nd but fortunately we have ammo this draft to move around up/down for players we like.

But i'm not worried at all about Kelce it's really more like routine maintenance at this point for him he will be fine and ready. Hell the top rookie WR John Ross is having shoulder surgery next week as well. Wouldn't be worried about taking him either because of the surgery.

I thought Deshaun Watson looked really good at the combine. Polished, threw well, clean feet, ran decent. He improved his stock

Thank you!! Athletic profile this guy is off the charts, but man this guy needs a ton of work in terms of playing LB. His tackling form is awful
