Kraft is such an increasingly sloppy mess at trophy presentations. Wasn't like that back in '96 when he dedicated the game to Sam Gash. Every big win has led him to getting a bit drunker. If the Pats win the Super Bowl in 2 weeks, there's a good chance Kraft will vomit drunkenly all over Joe Buck after the game.

I'd pay good money to see that. That'd be a highlight and a half.

If he threw up on Goodell I'd applaud....then cry when Brady gets suspended 4 games for it.

Same here. He'd become the most loved owner in the NFL overnight.

LB's played well today. Didn't need to be so active, given the Bell injury, but I really like the way the unit has come together. Hope they can keep Van Noy, he's a solid starter in this scheme.

Roberts, McClellin and Van Noy are under contract next season. But I really like Van Noy. Though I'd still look for a Lber early in the draft(Cunningham please fall).

Was at work for this one, so only caught the condensed version after I finished, but these were my thoughts:

1. Logan Ryan and Eric Rowe both had good games. Ryan has played very well this post-season, and is continuing to play himself into a nice contract, quite possibly not from us. Rowe made a few nice plays too! I know there were a few breakdowns in the secondary, and that the Steelers moved the ball well at times, but I couldn't really tell who that was on in the condensed version (or otherwise, probably Razz )

2. We played the run really well. I know Bell went out early, but the D was great against the run, which is encouraging.

3. Brady was clinical. How many of his incompletions were drops? I'm sure there were 3 or 4 at least, some of which were partly on Brady, but all of which were catch-able. Let's hope this is the Brady we see again in a couple of weeks!

4. The pass rush still struggles to get home. I'm not sure where the Steelers' O-line ranked this year in terms of pass protection, but Ben had a good deal of time to throw for the most part. On one hand, we were great against the run (albeit largely sans Bell), but if Matt Ryan gets that kinda time it could spell trouble for us. I think that's probably just who this defense is now, but it will be interesting to see how they play the Falcons, and if they are any more successful.

Anyway... Superb Owl bound! Great feeling, just need to see if I can swap out of a shift on game day.

I started following football ten years ago last october. The first play-off game I watched was the division game against SD (the Marlon McCree game). I decided I wanted the Patriots to win because i liked their logo and I had an ex-gf from SD...who I hated.

In those ten years NE have gone an average of over 12 wins per season. They have fielded a top 10 offense AND a top ten defense 8 times, and one of each the other 2. I have watched 12 post-season wins, 4 SB appearances and 1 title. I have never seen them lose 3 games in a row.

A "bad season", in my fan experience is losing in the AFC title game. Like all spoiled fans, I probably don't appreciate this enough.

When the Patriots return to being just an ordinary team...it's gonna be weird. This is an extraordinary team, and the only thing I remember fondly about my ex-gf from SD. Laughing
