The field itself can.. just the lockerooms are way to tiny.

My guess we probably will play at UNLV in 2019. We will play in Oakland for 2017 and 2018. I don't think it will go as bad as people think. I think it will go quite well since we are a strong team right now.

I really hope we can give Oakland one Lombardi before we leave. Imagine the way Bay Area fans would feel if they won one right after leaving.

Would definitely make up for leaving.. The Warriors did the same thing. Although they are moving only across the bay and have always represented the bay area as a whole, so it's a little different.

What's up y'all? Time for my 2 cents. Born n raised so cal for the first 25yrs,lived in Vegas for 7, Nola 6,10 in mo/ar Ozark mtns. Been a fan now 41yrs.
A)I'll always bleed s & b til I'm gone, it's who is knuckleheads are, not where we're from or live now.
B)already been thru 2 moves.
C) if you've seen the video you know we'll have a badass new home (which is 3-4hrs from la, and 10/12 from the bay/sac area.C) I can say Nola is by far easier to get carried away/in trouble town than Vegas imo, but both the same in that locals don't go to the strip/qtr. They're in their pools and favorite bar mostly.lol.
No we shouldn't change unis however we absolutely should add a BLK/BLK/ silver uni.
4)hate to say it but I saw plenty of 35/40k crowds in the last 10yrs. Blkouts were a rarity, correct? So the local love wasn't totally there like it's bein made out to be. Sux but the chefs and donks almost always do.
Make this new home ours ,loud, have our cheers and custom effects/music cuts etc. Cool , unified and hardcore/rattling minds. (For example everytime ac/DC score ...Cue the song cut "you've been.....And song +crowd roar, THUNDERSTRUCK!!! + 1 cannon report as well, and the crowd goes wild. I hate em but I've been to 5 games at Arrowhead and them chef [inappropriate/removed] got their loudness and cheers etc. Down tight. We should be the same way when we kick this thing off, seriously.
Make it a place teams don't wanna play at/against. Make the whole stadium the black hole.

BTW, my personal nomination for the Star spangled banner....Ivan Moody- FFDP...Local boys +sets the proper tone for new digs !!😈😈😈

Here is where I have some questions with this move. Can Raider fans dominate a stadium each week?

I get the feeling your casual fans of opposing teams will now be open for a weekend in Vegas and a game. Popular teams like the Packers, Steelers, etc. who's fans travel well does the stadium lose some of that hometown feel?

he amount of Bronco fans in Utah alone could be a huge draw with the short trip there to Vegas.

exactly this. every fan will look at their teams schedule and want to make a boys weekend out of the Vegas week.
An over the top home field advantage (like Seattle, KC) wont happen like it does there. Loud fans who are into the game, who kno when to cheer and when to be quiet.

Hopefully we become good enough, where fans dont want to spend money to see their team loose. But there will always be a lot of opposing support in that stadium.

Hopefully the 0% income tax lets us sign players for a bit less (even tho this doesnt happen in Jax lol), and a fancy new stadium helps attract FAs.

Don't know if this happens, but if Reggie is wise he'd have a "Net pay" presentation on top of his normal contract offer. I'm sure agents sometimes give this info, but it would appear wise to me to talk up and make very clear your strengths that other teams can't offer, and in this case that's take home pay.

Has anyone placed the $100.00 PSL deposit? I was thinking about doing it because I wanted to get season tickets.

I'm about too, but don't know if I can because I'm not a current season ticket holder

Another concern is that the Casinos will get a bunch of tickets for their customers which will limit availability to the average fan. Casino customers will not have the passion that we have for our team and leave early instead of staying to the dire end, a Raider Nation staple.

I called maybe 4-5 months ago and asked to be put on the list. They said we have no list. I said good, I should be the first one. They didn't find that funny. I laid my money down within five minutes after getting their email Tuesday. Then they sent the agreement which said no guarantee you'll get a season ticket Bucko. The PSL amount could be scary. We won't know for a while.

Yup I'm just waiting for the price. I'm in a booster club in AZ and a few of us share some season tickets currently. Already put down my deposit and if it's crazy high for the seats I want in Vegas I'll do the same think again.

As a lifelong Raider fan from the valley, the prospective nostalgia is going to be nothing short of a bitter pill to swallow. For me, the Raiders and Oakland are absolutely synonymous. My dream was to see an Oakland-SF Superbowl. I'm not particularly enthusiastic about Vegas either. Glitz and corny ripoffs don't appeal to me as much. I can't stand the thought of the Black Hole being some kind of tourist trap. I live in New Orleans right now and see enough of that as is with Bourbon St., the Quarter, and everyone being a "Saints fan" while they're here.

From a business standpoint, I understand it. But I was really hoping that Lott could pull it off. I'm ok with seeing a failing franchise (St. Louis) relocate. San Diego relocating was, meh, I suppose. But with the Raiders seeming to finally be turning it around, seeing them go right when things were getting good again really, really sucks.

So if they left 3-4 years ago you would be OK with it? The product on the field is getting better but the field is not. The franchise is more than the team. Since Davis did not have the means to do it himself he needed the city/county to help. They were not willing to so he took his best available option. What the Chargers and Rams did was a show of disrespect to their fans. Both could have stayed. The Raiders had zero viable options in Oakland.

If they had left 3-4 years ago, it would not have surprised me as much nor would I have been as bitter. They had a crap team, crap situation, crap ownership. Loyal fans were about it, and I know more than a few less than loyalists. At THAT point, why stay? It's literally a black hole.

Now, you have a good team and loyal fans. The situation is still crappy and ownership is still crappy. Different scenario. I'm hurt because I remained a fan in spite of all of the crap and stuck through to see them get good again.

And no, the franchise had viable options. Could have sucked up the 4 cruddy home games a year for a few more years and see if revenue picked up to either get a new stadium in Oakland/Bay Area. Mark could have sold the franchise (I'm sure there are plenty of far wealthier entities that would have gladly taken it off his hands).

Lets not kid ourselves that the move to Vegas is some time of guaranteed business success. It could fail for a multitude of reasons. And with Mark needing THAT much $$$ to even pull the move off, the stakes are even higher. Next year is an election year for Oakland's leadership, which is another factor to consider. If a city government loses something like this, that looks really bad. More amenable leadership may come into office. Economically, the entire nation is getting stronger (kind of)....

This move literally reeks of $ grubbing, top to bottom. Something could have been done in Oakland. But then the NFL would again not have Vegas, a shiny big new stadium in Vegas, etc. The betterment of the franchise only matters to the owners and NFL in terms of $. Period. That is why I'm now bitter. The Raiders organization had a reason and purpose now for the first time in 15 years. This is just another way to further commercialize, and frankly, I'm just not cool with that.

Vegas will be a great weekend experience for those who will travel. Wonder if EDC will move into the stadium. Probably too close to the strip but I could see the stadium being booked every weekend with events. A wise decision, just wish it wasn't the Raiders leaving. High character team is the best chance for success. Hope PSL's go to as many fans as possible or it could turn into Super Bowl games with businesses holding tickets and VIP's only.

Yes, I put mine down 3-4 days ago. Current season ticket holders are also supposed to put down the $100 if they want to keep their spot in line. Even if current season ticket holders are first in line there will be almost 10k more seats and way more suites. So if you want them I would put the money down soon to reserve your spot in line. I just hope Mark doesnt get greedy and sell them all to the Casinos just to get a bunch of $$ at once.
