So lets recap

The 2017 Eagles had the following needs and here is what you did to address the position (I'm only addressing major changes).

CB - Acquired and Extended Kareem Jackson, Signed Dre Kirkpatrick, Drafted Marquez White, Cut McKelvin and Brooks.

WR - Signed Britt and Garcon, Drafted Taywan Taylor and Carlos Henderson.

RB - Drafted Dalvin Cook in the first.

OL - Replaced Kelce with Ethan Pocic, the #1 center in the draft.

DL - Retained Bennie Logan, Extended Brandon Graham, Signed Adrian Clayborn and drafted Keionta Davis.

I think you did a great job. You addressed every "need" in a pretty big way and even created more cap room for next season. I think your needs going into next season will be DE, LB, and OT but there are no glaring holes at this time.

Eagles sign CB Ezra Robinson Tenn. St to a UDFA contract

Pretty good player. Would have been drafted if not for off field red flags. He could legit make this team.

More to come as they become official.

Thanks for helping and following along. I'd be really happy if this was the real Eagles off season.

The biggest critiques I have of myself is this:

I was wishy washy about trading Jason Kelce and that trade happened late. If I would have done it sooner, I would have had more space and bid more and possibly won Kenny Stills.

Knowing what I know now, I would have gone harder after Still and not Britt and then came back around and got Garcon when I did.

I also think I got jittery in the trade up for Taywan Taylor. I maybe could have waited for the 4th for him

After doing this mock, I am a big proponent of trading up. Do the work you need to in Free Agency to put yourself in a position to GO GET THE BEST OFFENSIVE PLAYMAKER YOU CAN. I think Cook might be the most explosive playmaker in the draft and I decided to be active and go get him rather than be passive and sit and wait for him. I think the Eagles need to do that, to be aggressive and go get the guy they need to make this offense click around Wentz.

Eagles sign D.J. Jones DT Ole Miss to a UDFA Contract.

A big mammoth run stuffing DT. He would compete with Aziz [inappropriate/removed] for the 5th DT spot if the Eagles keep one.

Eagles sign Greg Pyke OG Georgia to a UDFA Contract

Oline depth will be throw in the mix with Dillion Gordon and Darrell Greene for Guard depth.

Eagles sign Jonathan McLaughlin T VT to a UDFA contract

Probably just a camp body TBH.

Eagles sign Anthony Firkster FB Harvard to a UDFA Contract

Competition for Sam Rogers, will probably get cut. Plus it never hurts to have a Harvard guy around to like do taxes or solve world hunger something

Eagles sign Kenny Allen P Michigan to a UDFA Contract

You never know when Donnie Jones might lose his luster. If nothing else, he is a camp leg.

Eagles sign Brandon Bell LB PSU to a UDFA Contract

Bell is coming off an injury and has significant upside and playmaking ability. I see him honestly competing for a roster spot with some question marks with LB depth

Eagles sign Jahad Thomas RB/RS Temple to UDFA Contract

Thomas is a favorite prospect of mine. He might be Darren Sproles 2.0. If he produces in camp, he'd really be worth keeping around to be Sproles's heir apparent in the offense and return game

Eagles sign Weston Steelhammer SS Air Force to an UDFA Contract

The Eagles don't have anyone after McLeod, Jenkins and Maragos who is a lock to make the roster at S. It wouldn't be a huge up set to see this high effort, big hitter with a nose for the football beat some people out and make the team.

Eagles sign Nate Hairston CB Temple to a UDFA contract

Probably a homer pick up as I am a Temple enthusiast (wouldn't call myself a "fan" Don't follow them close enough. Same with UNC TBH) Hairiston is a former WR with good size. There are probably too many bodies at the position to make the team but he could be a practice squad candidate and might turn into a player.

This has a major upside, huge Penn State fan and when Bell played the Defense just clicked would potentially be a starter in the NFL if werent for the injury.

I knew the name Ezra Robinson somewhere so I did a search....probably not a good idea in your Getting to know...Tenn State fluff piece you answer the question:

How would your family and friends describe you?
And you answer..."Crazy"

As the first question...

EDIT:
Next question no joke, fav movie:

"Paid in Full"

talk about keeping it one hundred.
