What? No way. Bobbie Williams was the man. He was my Bengals man crush pre-Geno Atkins...

Paul?

Also, Levi was great, but Whit should be the LT.

Whitworth to LT, and Zeitler to LG (sorta cheating, but who cares)

Neal for Hewitt, as stated above.

Brian Simmons over Thurman. Thurman only played a year. Tragically what could have been.

Justin Smith was never a DT or us. I'd put Peko there for now, and hope that this time next year that Billings makes me forget about the last few years for Peko. Thorton could be an option as well.

Kicker Graham
Punter Huber
Return Specialist Adam Jones

And if Jones is the returner, can I put O'Neal in at the third CB spot?

Eh. He played more DE by a mile, but he IIRC he lined up at DT for us as well. Considering how good he was in San Francisco, I would definitely use him in the middle to eat up blockers next to Geno...

Hey now. I didn't say Nate Livings or Dennis Roland...

Thank you. Criminally disrespected. 2nd best LT to ever play for the franchise, and it isn't very close.

Levi was good. But he had a relatively short run, and his peak was never as high as Whit's.

I'll make my list maybe later.

So while I agree with you guys, Whit is also a stud LG. Better than the other true LGs that we've had. Although Whit at LT and Evan Mathis at LG I love as well...

So put him at both. I don't have a problem with that. He's probably been the best player they've had at both positions.

I can agree that Whit should be LT. I just tried to get as many great players on the team as possible.

I don't think Peko at DT should trump Justin Smith. Or Justin Smith bumps MJ off.

And I made this list for players in their prime. Odell Thurmans rookie season was so promising that I will put rookie Thurman in that spot. If not Thurman I'd move Burfict to MLB and put in Rivers

I think you are criminally under-rating Simmons in that case.

I can appreciate what you were doing. Just think if you were going to list the best Bengals players at each position since 2000 that Whit would occupy two spots.

Also, i agree that Simmons should be on the roster. Much better player than Keith Rivers ever was. More consistent, but probably a lower peak than Thurman...however i'd give him the nod over Thurman and have Burfict in there. Hell, i'd even have Dhani Jones in over Thurman and Rivers.

Yeah, Simmons was considerably better than Rivers
