I give this draft a B-

I think we could have gone a different way and gotten more talent and better role players but we'll see how it plays out.

This is real concerning to me regarding Flowers.

I would like both and maybe still Odrick for more depth. Though, Pasztor is a RT and LT is our concern but more depth/competition wouldn't hurt.

Once finals are over, I plan on going through a bunch of Giants games this year and analyzing them thoroughly, mostly to do a few key things:
-Show how Engram and Marshall are going to fit in the offense and improve our team greatly
-Break down some OL play
-Show how much having Jennings get so many carries singlehandedly hurt our run game

I went through the second Cowboys game quickly and was able to make 2 notes:
-Marshall Newhouse was much, much worse than I thought and was easily our worst OL this game, filling in for Pugh at LG.
-Jennings was horrible last year running the ball.

For the second point, I direct you to these 2 plays. In each, Jennings currently has the ball in his hands after taking a hand-off. Guess how many yards these 2 plays went for in total? No cheating using the right hand side!

Answer? 1 total yard. He did a little dance in the backfield, never hit a hole, got swarmed, and was dropped for 1 total yard on 2 plays where the holes were massive. The first one was especially heinous, as Tye even acts as a lead blocker on the play and gets a nice block right in the wide open hole. Jennings never even looks at it. Perkins finds those and cuts back into them every time. It's no coincidence our run game vastly improved once he got more carries. Jennings was a great guy, good leader, and a smart player, but it was about time he was cut.

True left tackle is priority but bobby hart was just as bad out there at right and since there isn't any quality LT and all indications show that flowers is going to start at left tackle they should atleast upgrade RT and Austin Pasztor and play guard too at they love versatile offensive Linemen in return have hart and Jerry play the swing tackle and battle Flucker for the RG spot

I realized that we have a top 5 receiving corp, top 5 secondary, and top 5 defensive line on paper. We just need the offensive line to step up and we are going to be tough to beat.

Hart is a late round draft pick who showed potential. Flowers is still young and maybe if he stops training with his dad over the summer he'll actually get somewhere. Jerry took a huge step forward last year after Bentley OL camp.

Has something changed since then?

http://www.giants.com/team/roster/Evan-Engram/36c98706-44f5-49fc-b857-bbec81855e77

Giants still listing him as #88

Where did you hear he went with #40?

Tomorrow teams can sign FA who's contracts expired and not have it count against them in next years comp picks. Apparently, we may get a 3-4 for Hankins so that's sweet.

Pazstor, Blount, Odrick, Williams, Verner would be decent depth signings imo.

If Flowers develops into just an average LT we will have a solid roster.

I think Blount and Pazstor are my first two options. Gives Hart actual competition at RT.

Blount can block and will help Gallaman/Perkins develop.

Odrick/Williams would be nice depth at DT.
