Bills will probably miss out on McCoy. He's interviewing for the Broncos tomorrow. Can't see him turning down that gig. Norv Turner would disgust me. He's the Rob Ryan of offensive coordinators. Keeps getting chances no matter how bad his product on the field is.

This is interesting.

He's childhood friends with McDermott and both share the same agent. And didn't Elway once try to fire him when he was with Denver?

For what it's worth, John Clayton was on WGR today and he said no way would Norv come to Buffalo. He said if he coaches it'll be with on the west coast near his family.

If we lose out on McCoy, they might as well go all-in for Bill Musgrave.

I hadn't thought about Kromer as a potential OC. Does he have any experience calling plays?

I don't believe so. He had the title of OC in Chicago but Trestmen definitely called the plays.

No Bill Musgave?

Not at all.

His Offense in Minnesota was average at best despite having AP in prime years. In Jacksonville it was even worse.

He fell into Derek Carr and its no secret why Downing is getting promoted instead of Musgrave retained.

Here is a great piece by Sal.

http://www.wgr550.com/How-will-the-Bills-front-7-look-in-Sean-McDermott-/22986115

Couple quotes:

Quote:
DE - Shaq Lawson
I’ve always felt Lawson was more suited to play 4-3 DE in the NFL than 3-4 OLB where Rex Ryan had him lined up. That’s what he’d be in McDermott’s scheme, opposite Hughes.

Quote:
Ragland and Brown might be interchangeable in a 4-3. Either could play middle LB (Mike) or on the weakside (Will). Neither is a superior athlete with a lot of speed, but Brown is more athletic than Ragland, who will also be coming off ACL surgery,

You'll notice he doesn't see a true SLB on the roster and I agree. I hope we go out and get Klein from Carolina. I also would love if Foster fell to us somehow because he'd be the perfect Will.

Well Mccoy is said to be taking Denver Job, I think Bill Musgrave would be the best option at this point if Lynn gets a HC job. Bill brought the Raiders offense to top 6 this year. He just left Oakland because they wanted a young positions coach to take OC as they feel like they would lose him to an OC job.

Ehhh dont really believe that yet. Report came out last night but it has yet to be confirmed today. Both interviews are taking placw today. Im sure Jospehs wants McCoy the most but i also read a report that McCoy isnt in a hurry to make a decision. So i believe McCoy will take his time and consider all options

He didn't bring crap to them. Derek Carr did. If he was good enough at his job they wouldn't worry about losing the guy that they promoted.

Raiders fans everywhere can't stand him. There's a reason he was let go for someone else. Don't want him anywhere near us.

I really pray that Lynn somehow stays with us as OC. If not we could try to throw the bank at Haley as his contract is up in Pittsburgh after this season. No guarantee he'd leave there for where they'd most likeley want him back for us in a lateral move though.

Not a fan of Bill Musgrave either. I'd rather have Lynn or McCoy... or just anyone but Musgrave Laughing
