Bills will probably miss out on McCoy. He's interviewing for the Broncos tomorrow. Can't see him turning down that gig. Norv Turner would disgust me. He's the Rob Ryan of offensive coordinators. Keeps getting chances no matter how bad his product on the field is.

Sean McDermott's likely DC in Buffalo is Panthers LB coach Al Holcomb, per source. Logical hire and promotion.

Nice logical choice. Knows the system and worked with Kueckly and Thomas.

I like the dc hire keep it in house type where they work together. I think McCoy will chose the job that can better his career and who he works well woth. Also comes down to who offers him more money which i hope buffalo can pull off cause Norv is garbage and he is apparently 2nd choice

Yeah IIRC Greg Roman was the highest paid OC in 2015.

No reason we can't show McCoy the love.

My older brother is a legit die hard panthers fan and has been his whole life. Watches every game and drives to Carolina twice a year and in so many words, this is what he had to say:

Initially:
"Nooooo, f***!!"
Then couple texts later:
"He's smart, cool, calm and a badass but very into coaching and takes it serious to the max. When I went to training camp I got there early and he wouldn't even sign my auto graph; just said he's "working" and ran off. Panthers led the league in sacks 2 or 3 of last 4 years. Led it this year with a young secondary and knows how to get the most out of them. He finds a way to get pressure and is aggressive. Was a jim Johnson disciple and comes from the same coaching tree as Andy Reid and Ron Rivera."

I love the hire. Pair him with a big name OC and lets get after it. He sounds like the polar opposite of Rex Ryan. McDermott is going to be all business in press conferences and will DEFINTELY hold every player accountable.

When's the last time we hired a young up and coming coordinator and not a retread?

Now let's let Whaley do what he does best, find good personnel for our defense.

Dream scenario:

Hire Lynn, Haley, or McCoy as OC

Throw the bank at Eric Berry

Draft either Williams or Foster at 10.

I'd cry.
