Do you guys think we resign Gabriel or does he leave for the big money like I think he will, maybe a team like SF with kyle?

yes, but I just don't see Atlanta matching the offers I think he will end up getting with us already investing a lot in julio and sanu. We need to keep him someway, he is very valuable to this offense. If he goes to a team trying to be a #2 I honestly don't see him having too much success.

If we lose him and aldrick, WR is def a priority this offseason because I don't know how much we can rely on hardy tbh, but he does need more opportunity for me to judge

Whos to say he just wants a 1 year deal, he is probably wanting a bigger and longer contract. I could see denver being all over him since they have 3 3rd round picks and the 9ers

Do you know how RFA works?

The team with rights will either tender the player or not, and in Gabriel's situation, the Falcons will. A first round tender is 2.8 mil. A second round tender is $2.0 mil. A late round tender is $1.3 mil.

Another team can negotiate with the player, but the originating team can match. If the do not match, they will get a pick that goes with the tender.

The Falcons will at least put a second round tender on Gabriel. Do you actually think another team will risk giving up their pick, and sign a slot receiver to a long term deal?

Gabriel will be on the Falcons next year, unless some team is just dumb.

Edit:Atlanta also has 30ish available in cap, so money isnt the issue.

1. Guard
2. Pass rusher
3. CB/S
4. TE

To me thats our top needs regardless of position. I think we should just stack as many talented pass rushers and DBs as we can and figure out who plays where later. Replacing Chester is kinda obvious but not sure if thats a 1st round pick, if we could get a guy like Njoku in the 1st or far less likely, 2nd, I would be absolutely ecstatic. Tamme is likely gone, and its a luxury but he just adds another element to our offense. I hnestly think Njoku at 31/32 is a steal.
