If this has been posted before I apologize, but I am trying to get a fan base opinion of the team needs.
Just the top 3 or 4.
Thanks. _________________

RB - it is critical that we get a running game for the 1st time since Barry retired.
CB - You can never have too many. We don't have enough.
DT - Ngata is not getting any younger.
OT - Rief is a FA this off season. |

Based on prospects coming out for this years draft I would have to have my list as follows.
1. CB -- Worst completion percentage in the history of the NFL, I know a lot of that goes to the fact that they are a ton of short passes but our corners have been smoked far to often. Not to mention if Slay goes down again then Lawson is our number 1 and that should never be the case.
2. LB -- Whitehead is better served as a back up or even an outside LB at best. Levy can not stay healthy and Bynes plays his heart out but he is also better as a back up. If we can land a quality starter in the draft or FA then our whole situation would be better because of the depth it would create.
3. DL -- Weather it be End or Tackle both are a position of need. Nagta is no longer the devastating force he once was and we can no longer cover up the fact that our line gets no pressure. Robinson is a nice building piece and Ansah will recover and be back next year to his old self. Hyder is key as he has good ability and determination and Zettle is a very nice effort back up Lineman. We need a fast penetrating strong DT. Now if it was that easy then everyone would have one. Solomon Thomas out of Stanford is not necessarily that big but he has Aaron Donald qualities with strength and speed and great hands.
4. WR -- I know it is not what a lot of people would think but if we could land someone like Corey Davis would give us a number 1. I know tate is our number 1 but in all actuality he is a 2 as is Jones.
Those are just my observations up to this point. It could change as the off season goes. |

I don't see CB as big of a need as most. The completion percentage was more from design to adjust for terrible Dline play.
I think Lawson is a solid#2. Overall DB depth is certainly a need, but I'd rather see the above starting positions upgraded. _________________ Team Stylish

What's everyone's thoughts on Lawson? I think he's pound for pound a better player than Taylor, Ebron and Whitehead. _________________ Team Stylish

Easily better than them but I think he's a bit outgunned on the outside. I think he's better suited for the slot and IMO would do well there. I do think he's decent in run support too.
Taylor is BAD. I think he needs to go back to being a situational pass rusher. Pretty sure he had more sacks like that than he did as a full time starter this year.
I think it needs to go
LE/DT
MLB
I know we're way out of range but I want Jonathan Allen. _________________
