New colors. I think green might be used more now.

It should be noted that in the original Timberwolves logo, the Wolf had green eyes as green was a primary team color in those days...which they never should have let go of.

And this is only a guess, but I suspect that the green nose tip is meant to mimic a reflection of light giving off a greenish hue in the winter.

Last night was a bad time.

Gotta think if Haula scores on that amazing chance he has we win the game going away. That's why we aren't Chicago.

Dubnyk played really well, Suter, Spergeon, Scandella and Dumba had a really good game in my opinion. The Parise-Staal-Nino line was amazing.

Must win game 2.

Outplayed them up and down the ice. Allen stood on his head, we'll see how long he can keep that up. I agree it would've been nice for Haula to have buried that golden opportunity.

We didn't consistently get bodies in front of the net. The Wild played a good game but not great. Need our big forwards to play big. Niederrieter was about the only one I saw that got in front of the net. Coyle needs to play a heavier game.

That seemed to be Parish's biggest gripe about the game on KFAN this morning and I would agree with him and you. We'll see how they respond in Game 2.

Former Ravens, Colts, Jets and 49ers tight end Konrad Reuland died on December 12 at the age of 29 as a result of a brain aneurysm. That week, baseball Hall of Famer Rod Carew had a heart and kidney transplant. Those two stories hadn’t previously been connected, but the Ravens revealed today that Carew received Reuland’s organs.

Jake Allen>>>Ken Dryden

Marty B goat goalie coach

Mike Yeo is God's Gift to hockey

Wild will never score again

What a disappointing way to end the season.

Also, quality sucker punch on Haula at the end of the game.

Wish nothing but the worst for the Blues.

Well at least the Twins are starting off hot.
Vikings start off 5-0 end at 8-8
Wild put up a great 1/2 of season and have been falling since.
Twins start off hot, lets see how they end up.

4 straight hits to lead off the 1st. 3-0 Twins in the 1st.

don't worry everyone, Buxton struck out.

side note: I think every Twins player throws in a half of a can of chew in their lip before their at bat.

Why does Buxton refuse to bunt? Once he gets on base a few times I think he will start turning into the player we saw to end last year.

Well he did try and he bunted it all the way to the second deck.

Well he just got a double. Lets see if he can get on again and if you are right!

1 hit shutout for Santana today. Great game for him.

#42 for the Twins also hit really well today.
