All I want is a Gopher offense that doesn't look like it's straight from a mid-level Minnesota high school team.

That means an actual passing game. You don't need to be a pass heavy team but it would be nice to be able to pass the ball when you need to.....

Ha didn't even think about that. Thanks rpm for changing it.

Many believed Chris Bell was going to be the kid to replace Corey Davis at WMU.

Kid has freaky good hands the way people were raving about him.

World Juniors really got me excited for the Wild and their future. 2015 Wild 5th round pick Kirill Kaprizov was the scoring leader of the tournament and Captian for team Russia. 2016 1st round pick Like Kunin was Captain of the Gold Metal winning USA team and was linemates with Wild 2015 2nd round pick Jordan Greenway, a skilled 6-5 forward. Not to mention Joel Eriksson Ek who played a few games with the Wild this season. All of these players played very well and we're leaders for their respective countries.

Hands definitely stood out when I watched his Hudl videos.

Fleck flips two more that were previously committed to WMU.

How did WMU's recruiting class compare to what the U had lined up?

is adding a bunch of their recruits a major upgrade?

Most of them are three star recruits. The guard is a top 55 guard in the country, the wideout and linebacker are top 85 players at their positions.

WMU doesn't have a lot of three star recruits left now. Only three of them left according to Rivals. The addition of these recruits has raised the Gophers recruiting class at least ten spots, and into the top 50.

Also, these guys are simply filling out our class, coming from the top of the MAC's top signing class. I don't think the guys we had lined up were at that level.

Wild with a new low scoring win. Good to see that the defense seemed to be back on track after a few rough games.

Also, Gopher's basketball, after being so terrible last year, this year looks even more amazing. It'll be interesting to see if they can keep it up and break into the top 25.

10 new commits in 2 days. That's pretty crazy...and he managed to convince Conor Rhoda to come back.

But, as it was with Brewster, the question comes down to whether he can actually coach. Since the thought is that he usually leaves the Xs and Os to his coordinators, who he hires for those 2 spots will tell quite a bit.

In the end, while being a good recruiter is nice, if you can't coach them to actually play well and play together, none of the recruiting matters.

As opposed to Tim Brewster, PJ Fleck has actually been a head coach with success.

As for the coaching hires, I've heard he's expected to bring most of his offensive coaching staff with him.

The Gophers are hiring Arkansas defensive coordinator Robb Smith to fill the same job, with an announcement expected this week, according to ESPN.

While statistically, he doesn't sound great...he is stealing him from Bielema, so that's a plus.

Fleck and Smith coached together at Rutgers.

And I would think that getting any coach from the SEC is a solid hire.
