I honestly do think the Seahawks were our biggest threat to our Superbowl hopes and now they are done ... well I think we can achieve something quite special this year.
dallas and green bay both present huge challenges for atlanta. seattle, with their offensive line, was going to need to play perfect and win the turnover battle to beat atlanta. dallas, on the other hand, has the offensive line that can dominate and control the clock. just look at what philly did. control the clock. that's how you beat atlanta. green bay has rodgers. enough said. obviously it's a matter of opinions, just my two cents.

let's hope julio is able to go. we'll need him.

Agreed, time for some revenge. I think the Falcons are ready this time. The defense is rounding into shape at the perfect time, and the offense is clicking like no offense we've every had. If not now, when? This is the year to do it, and we'll probably be even better next year!

I am so excited for this game. I really do think Matty will be the superior QB game and go on an absolute tear. I see Falcons scoring 40+. I think we need to ask is can the Packers score 40 or more?

I feel good about my Pack scoring 30+, but I also have no faith in my defense stopping you from putting 30+

Well looks like Shannahan is gone. Winning in the fashion we did all year has covered up the fact that he's got a total poor attitude. I can't believe he's leaving this offense as good as it has been to go to SF. I'd root for him if it were, say Denver. But now I'm waiting for him to flop. Never did like him. Just didn't complain bc we've been a historic offense. Anyways enough Shannahanegins. On to GB

Our Off is better than theirs. Our Def is better than theirs. Only variable is Rodgers man. He can pull a W out of the hat better than any magician ever pulled a rabbit. I sure hope we get revenge from when they bounced us last time we met in the playoffs. I think we have a similar defensive gameplan as we did for Russell. The somewhat of a spy, but more of a delayed rusher. As much as they go without a RB, Vic should eat. Not to mention their OL is banged up bad.

Anyone happen to notice it was Jalen start the tip drill and Debo get that pick? That has to be my favorite play of the season. Our two LSU guys both involved in a playoff-sealing play. Let's go get two more boys!!!

I'm probably the only person in existence that expects this to be a defensive slow scoring game. It seems like every time a game gets branded as a shootout it disappoints in the amount of scoring. That and I could see the Falcons going for a TOP strategy if they get ahead.

It would be so great to say goodbye to the dome in this way but I'm afraid because it would be almost too good to be true.

I wish Shanahan the best but I think this is a decision he'll regret down the road. The Falcons O was historic this season and even without Shanahan it might continue to be so. Making that part of his legacy could be a big thing for Shanahan way down the road. If the Falcons O stays this good people will stop giving him credit for it, if the Falcons O regresses he might get some credit but people will also claim it was a one-day-wonder.

Or it will be the other way around and the Atlanta forum will be down for maintenance to repair the flooded servers from all the tears from ATL fans.

Good Luck to you this weekend. It should be a great game.

Pretty much. I'll be disappointed but with our defense I'm surprised we made it as far as we did. This would be great but no where near like the 2014 or 2011 disappointment if we lose.

I concur. It's been a blast and a treat to watch our fabulous QB play like he has. Getting this far is just gravy. I suspect the team who has the ball last will win - just like the last time we played each other.

Just like Seattle I'll be shocked if we lose. I'm guessing a 42-28 win.
