Did we force the ball to Beckham the last two years too? The difference is that Eli's deep ball was terrible all year and if Beckham isn't playing god-level then we have zero playmakers.

How is McAdoo supposed to establish a rhythm when teams know the ball is going to Beckham? I like Perkins but we need a guy like Dalvin Cook desperately.

We consistently take him out of the game......

3rd and 1 and we have Rainey in....what are you saying

Second most targets of any receiver....

That's precisely the problem. Cruz/Tye/Shepard are not able to take advantage of double teams. It's sad to say but I actually think that the offense was better off with Randle

Teams know the ball is going to every great receiver...this isn't new.

Frustrating the way the second half played out. But we lost to a very good team. Still proud of this team, particularly the defense.

overall good season. Our future is bright. Couple of Linemen and we'll be ok. Nothing to hang our heads.
Eli isn't getting any younger

Eli wasn't the problem. He hit open receivers often and there were some drops. Couple that with bonehead special teams against a league MVP and that's what happens. We have a young nucleus. Couple of more pieces and we'll be fine. The offense line needs alot of help unfortunately there aren't any real good FAs or linemen in the draft. Much better feeling than in years past. We have a very good team. Need a couple more to be great. We get Darian Thompson back and couple more and we'll be good. Successful season in my eyes.

Beckham produced essentially the same as last year. We're not a bad offense because he's not getting the ball. We're a bad offense because our other guys can't exploit single coverage and WE CAN'T RUN THE BALL.

How many offenses can be successful with one great receiver and nothing else?

This is a standard fan exercise...

No one EVER wants to blame the star playmaker or the QB. It's always the O-Line or the coaching.

I blame all of the above to be honest.

Don't judge the team based on this game. Judge the season...Eli has been bad this year and isn't getting any younger.

Couple big differences

Eli was much better (deep ball in particular)

Running game was still bad but much better

Randle > Cruz

Randle didn't take cruzs spot

Shepherd took RRs spot. If you are seriously on a RR train right now GTfo. The dude got cut from arguably worst WR group in philly. Enough of that

Eh...I think a bit of overreaction, Eli is not old for a QB and he had a fine season. Get Eli a line that gives him time, not even Aaron Rodgers time, just regular time and guys that can actually run block we would see better offense. I thought McAdoo could have called a bit more aggressive game taking some shots down field but heck, good overall season and we would be ingrates to nitpick and complain about it. Signing off till fall ball 2017. Awesome year gents!
