This will be the first game of Flacco's career that he won't be playing for a playoff chance. All things considered that's pretty impressive. Anyways, with nothing for Baltimore to gain by beating Cincinnati I wouldn't be upset with a loss here. That's definitely not what the team will try to do given the comments made this week and having a good feel for Harbaugh and the front office, but either way there's no pressure.

Green won't be playing for the Bengals and it's looking like Smith, Orr, and Wagner will be out for the Ravens. No need to put any of them out there with nothing on the line. Will be the usual suspects playing cornerback. Hurst or Lewis at right tackle, but of course it's going to be James. Will be interesting to see what happens at ILB though. With Correa on IR and Orr out that leaves... Onwuasor? Maybe McClellan moves back inside. I'm hoping for Patrick though. Get some unknowns out there to see what they can do.

Treat it as a pre-season game, let the young guys get experience and allow them to audition for a role heading into the off-season. 0 reason to put big name starters out there and risk potential injury.

I want them to win and try to win. I'd like to see them end the season on a high note. Would be cool to see Steve Smith go out with a monster game.

That said, I see no reason for guys who are even somewhat dinged to dress (i.e. no way should Jimmy Smith try to play, even if he's cleared). Now, if they have a lead in the second half and want to be more liberal about pulling guys like Joe, Suggs, etc., then I'm fine with that.

The draft pick gains for losing one extra game are sort of meh to be worth "tanking" a single game. I would rather have the winning season.

I don't think we should tank it, and I don't think we should "play to win it".

We can finish on a high note, but in the end, the only thing a victory will do is help us fans arguing about Flaccos stats (among others) next year and about Flacco and Harbaughs winning seasons.

Play Steve Smith and give the young guys a chance and sit Flacco. I want to see what some of the young pass rushers and Onwuasor can do.

Well Flacco already broke that 4000 yard mark for the first time, despite playing the worst he ever has over a season (mostly in the first half). Take that haters.

But try telling Steve Smith, we don't want to go 100% in this game Laughing

I've said it before, but Flacco is weird. His best games usually don't lead to very impressive stats but his worst games look good in the box score. This is like a whole season of it.

So far it seemed we chose to tank it.

Its gonna be hard to successfully tank with all the Bengals outs for this game (even though that doesn't look like thats what they're trying to do)

I like it. Pees is exposed here.

As well as Elam.

Love the way Dixon runs. It's his job to lose come training camp. He runs with no quit.

I hope that the 1st team defense is embarrassed with themselves for giving up 2 TDs in the 1st quarter to Andy Dalton and a bunch of back-ups

Laughing Not even upset at all

But, it's dawning on me that this exact thing probably would have happened if we won in Pittsburgh last week and needed this game to make the playoffs.
