I'm really disappoints by some of the posts in here. We haven't had to lock a thread for reasons other than general cleanup in quite a while. The interactions between our fan bases have also improved in recent years. This is a clear step back.

CentralFC, if you want to contribute to the conversation in a productive manner, you're more than welcome. Otherwise, you can return to the Packers forum and let them enjoy your critical analysis of the game.

Keep the discussion on the game, cut the trolling, stop taking shots at other posters. Follow the rules. Give them a read if you need a refresher. Webby can give you the next reminder.

Don't let anyone be calling the #1 Salesmen of 2016 abrasive! You should be writing the rulebook down there by now.

To the ref whiners, give me a break. Our entire first half offense was derailed by penalty after penalty, including two "false starts" that were offsides. There were poor calls on both sides as in every football game. One team outplayed the other in the 2nd half and won the game. There's your difference.

Haha. There were a total of eight penalties called against the Packers in the first half: two were declined, one was on a punt return, one was a blatant defensive offside, and one was a delay of game. That leaves THREE judgment call penalties in an entire half of football. Three. And those were the 'penalty after penalty' calls that 'derailed' your offense?!

It makes sense: prior to the bad second half calls, the Lions had a lead. Then offensive holding went ignored (the other Packers' fan admitted that the line holds frequently) and they gifted the Packers with a game-sealing INT.

I'd absolutely love to see a Packers/Cowboys rematch, if only to watch the two teams with the most ref love in the NFC face off against each other. I just don't see the Giants being beat right now, which is why I said before the game that playing SEA on the road gives us a better chance of advancing.

I went back to watch these plays. I'm interested in your opinions because I have my biases, but I didn't see an obvious hold committed by the Packers in the entire first that didn't get called.

Here's the endzone view of every packers pass/Rodgers scramble in the first half. I might have missed one but I don't think so. Feel free to call out the plays you feel that holding was missed.

Maybe at a stretch you could argue Bakhtiari here, but his hands are inside the shoulders. That's not holding.

This is the sack by the blitzing safety. No holding.

Maybe Lane Taylor at a stretch, but I don't see grabbing. He just lost the hand fight and his hands are outside. So long as he doesn't grab jersey, it's not holding.

I see no holding here.

Again I don't see any holding.

Maybe Lane Taylor, but again his hands are inside.

I don't see any holding

no holding

Maybe Bakhtiari at a stretch, but I don't see it.

I don't see a hold

Again, I don't see a hold

A few other gifs aren't loading properly on the [inappropriate/removed] hotel wifi, but I'm not seeing the abhorrent miscarriage of justice that you all feel occurred.

If you want me to post certain plays, I will.

AlexGreen#20: great post. I seemed to recall blatant holds in the second half, which is what I was referring to in my post. Either way, I'll happily rewatch and post the exact plays where these blatant holds occurred, but it might be over the weekend... things around the house are busy during the week.
