Radio reports are swirling around the net from a Chris Cooley interview that this will be Lewis last in Cincinnati.

Info comes from someone within Bengals staff, and has Guenther joining Gruden in WAS

Just speculation and from a source that isn't really credible. No offense to Cooley, just mean it's not Schefter or Glazer who normally can validate information from multiple sources before reporting.

Also, I wouldn't be opposed to Guenther being the HC. He seems to be willing to make changes instead of sticking with the same ole same ole. His defense has really turned around as well. But if making Guenther the HC means he retains Paul Alexender, then hell no.

The only thing I want out of this coaching change is Paul Alexander to get fired...

1. I don't think Marvin is gone.

2. If he is I want a guy from the outside.

3. I want him to have control of his staff. Let him keep and fire who he chooses. I don't want "change for the sake of change", but I want a head coach who is aggressive, able to get the most out of his players, and capable of managing a game.

1.) http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/18359303/marvin-lewis-cincinnati-bengals-retire-plans-coach-team-next-season

Doesn't sound like it.

2.) I do as well. I do like Guenther though, I hope we can retain him as DC.

3.) He better. I will be beyond mad if Mike Brown tries to force the new HC to retain assistant coaches...

Psh, we all know you're not that strong.

FWIW, Paul Dehner Jr. and Jim Ozarski have been reporting all day that he's coming back. He's said himself he's not retiring, and reportedly Mike Brown wants him back.

Yeah I am not buying that he is leaving. I could be wrong, but I expect him to be the coach next year without a doubt

It seems like they have been eyeing 2017 as the last season. My only real hope is that Paul Alexander go. And maybe bring in a FA center.

That last part would be the dream scenario.

It's feasible. Not a prime fa, but a mid level starter. Bodine could function as a backup or right guard if Zeitler leaves.
