Can we officially put Rex Ryan in the Wade Phillips category?

Anthony Lynn named Interim HC in Buffalo, btw.

I predict, Mike McCoy is the next to fall.

I am going to go ahead and count this rumor as true as it was widely suspected last year that Lewis begged Hue to stay and be the heir as he would retire this year.

Is there any doubt at this point? He's been horrible for years.

Quote:

Adam Schefter, citing league sources, reports that veteran CH Tom Coughlin is interviewing with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Wednesday.

Coughlin also spoke to the Bills about a potential job but it apparently wasn’t a good fit.

That makes sense - they don't have a QB and they're not really a Super Bowl contender if they go get a Romo or other veteran and Coughlin isn't going to want to do a complete rebuild if he only has 4 years.

Not that Jacksonville is drastically different...

Marvin Lewis says he'll be back coaching Bengals in 2017; no word from ownership - http://CBSSports.com

Looks like Lewis might not be quite ready to call it quits.

Not sure why that rumor was taken seriously either.

Though I think a change in Cincy would be for the best.

I'm no Chip Kelly fan, but what EXACTLY did they expect in San Fran this year?

I do revel in their misery though

Well, Chip Kelly is a genius. Just ask him. So, based on that alone, he was clearly going to lead the 9ers to a Super Bowl.

And here it goes: With his family concerned about his health, Gary Kubiak likely is stepping down as Broncos' HC, league sources tell ESPN.

Nothing more than rumors, but it seems Bruce Arians my retire as well, due to health concerns.

There is a lot of buzz about Saints trading Sean Payton. Can't remember last coach to be traded. Was it Parcells, NE to NYJ? I can't remember the exact details of these moves, but do recall them being pretty big...1st, 2nd and 4th rd picks.
