Hopefully we sucker someone to trading up for Watson.

Mainly Buffalo and Chicago.

Whaley's record in drafting quarterbacks or trading up unnecessarily isn't exactly impeccable.

I mean this guy gets it. Honestly, if you're going troll atleast try. I mean that was terrible [inappropriate/removed] attempt. You should be embarrassed.

Not trolling if it's true

Nah but srs. Chill out

Bro, you don't even have a professional team, relax...

I'll pray for a scenario like:

1. Garrett

12.Foster/Hooker

33. Kizer

that would be perfect, but Kizer isn't going to fall that far.

think about safety in the third round if you plan on drafting Kizer

Wouldn't it be oh so funny if the Browns traded the #1 pick to the Bears thinking they want Watson only to see them take Garrett? Laughing

I still think that Watson has too many rough edges for someone to mortgage everything on him.

He's a lot better, with much smoother edges, than Goff or Wentz. I think it's always a bad move to sell the farm in a trade up. Young QB's need talent around them, and losing extra 1st and 2nd RD picks hinders their ability to develop.

Not draft bums. In the last six years we have drafted these NINE players in the first round:

Phil Taylor
Brandon Weeden
Trent Richardson
Barkevius Mingo
Justin Gilbert
Johnny Football
Danny Shelton
Cam Erving
Corey Coleman

Draft good players, not bums.

Jimmy G stays with New England this year.
We draft Garrett at #1 (out on a limb there).
We trade back from 12 for another 2018 1st.
We do NOT draft a QB in the first 2 rounds.

One, Shelton isnt a bum. If you think so, then you didnt watch any games this year and are stuck with the 2015 shelton in your head. Coleman, its way to early to call him a bum. Rookie looked good until he broke his hand. Lets see what he can do before we call him a bum. Everyone else on the list, are correctly labeled as bums. Also I am not going to hold the likes of Phil Taylor, Brandon Weeden, Trent Richardson, Barkevius Mingo, Justin Gilbert, Johnny Football, and Cam Erving against the current FO. They werent the guys pulling the trigger on those picks

As a Bears fan.... I'm actually hoping like hell that either Cleveland or San Fran are going to be kind enough to take Watson, just to take him off the board and guarantee we don't draft him at 3, let alone trade up for him, lol.

Then again, maybe Chicago can show just enough interest that the Jets offer to trade with us and move up to take him.... Hooker @ #6 (when I'd consider taking him at 3) and another 2nd rounder sounds like a sweet deal....

I simply listed our last 6 years worth of 1st round picks. Obviously Shelton isn't a bum, and Coleman might actually be good.

But in just these past 6 years we have drafted 7 confirmed bums in the FIRST ROUND!! Think about how astonishing of a feat that is.
