Anybody suggestion trading for jimmy G is a either a pats fans or a troll. He's beyond overrated and will fall to the waste side just like every other pats backup QB. Get your wet fantasies out of here it will never happen. We can't even support an actual franchise QB if we had one or one was available. Our team is so depleted we need a ton of work before we bring in the guy.

Draft Garrett at #1 and either Hooker/Adams/Foster/Barnett/Davis. At 12 anyone of those guys will work lol. QB shouldn't even be in the discussion till we fix our OL and Defense

'Fall to the waste side' is an incredible eggcorn.

I don't get why the Browns would spend any more than a 3rd on Jimmy given the contract situation, options in the draft and the fact their front office is actually competent.

We aren't trading for Garoppolo. If we do, it 100% won't involve Joe Thomas or a 1st round pick.

I don't want him at all, unless we can do a 3rd, which they wouldn't do.

Curious if you are not a fan of Jimmy G, or if you are a fan of any of the quarterbacks in the draft this year?

I'm a niners fan, kind of the same boat. But I hate the quarterbacks in this draft, and if it's between giving up a second this year and a third / 4th next year for Jimmy G or drafting one of these quarterbacks in the first or second this year, I'd definitely much rather have Jimmy G. I mean, I don't have astronomical hopes for him, but I feel better about the tiny amount I've seen from him than the future prospects of the guys coming out.

I just don't feel good about trading a high pick for a guy who only played 3 games got injured in one of them and hasn't really played in significant high pressure situations i.e. Playoffs. That shouldn't be hard to understand

I understand it just fine, thanks.

My bad guy, it wasn't directed towards you

Jimmy G stays with New England this year.
We draft Garrett at #1 (out on a limb there).
We trade back from 12 for another 2018 1st.
We do NOT draft a QB in the first 2 rounds.

Any chance a team like Houston would trade up for a QB at 1?

If they want to give us their 1st, a 2018 1st, JJ Watt, and JaDeveon Clowney, I'd listen. Cool

Go with Garrett at 1 and go BPA with their other 1st round pick.

I think

1(1) DE Myles Garrett
1(12) QB Deshone Kizer, a bit of a reach but tons of upside
2(33) S Budda Baker
2. OT Antonio Garcia
3. CB Kevin King
4. OT Avery Gennessey

A lot of rangy, athletic sex appeal there. I dig it. Make those coaches work.

I'd love this.

I'd dedicate the rest of the draft to the front 7.

I really think they have this draft by the balls. If the Eagles pick was a little higher it would help, but they should be able to address a ton of needs.

But any draft that leads with Myles Garrett and follows with 3 more top 50 picks is hard to screw up.

I wish they could just spare us all and announce Garrett will be the first overall pick. End it now. The only trade I'd listen to right now would be from Tennessee. Both 1st 3rd. Henry and next years first for Myles Garrett. They're one player away from being a force and that's a defensive stud. Garrett would be that. We would then have three 1st

1. Rueben Foster MLB
1. Malik Hooker FS
1. Solomon Thomas DT
2. Dewaune Smoot DE
2 Ju-Ju Smith WR
3. Jake Butt TE
