And by "pretty good" I mean about 700 yards. Laughing

Unfortunately that's about the extent of what a pretty good WR season has been for this franchise the past decade or so. These are the pathetic numbers of our leading WRs since 2005...

2005 - Bennett - 738
2006 - Bennett - 737
2007 - Gage - 750
2008 - Gage - 651
2009 - Britt - 701
2010 - Britt - 775
2011- WASHINGTON - 1,023
2012 - Washington - 746
2013 - WRIGHT - 1,079
2014 - Wright - 715 (Walker led all receivers, Wright was the leading WR)
2015 - DGB - 549 (same as previous)
2016 - Mathews - 945

Kendall Wright on what motivates him: "I probably was the best receiver on the Titans roster last year and I was playing 10 plays a game."

So glad our scenery has completely changed and we don't employ entitled garbage like this anymore.

I think he was the best WR on the team and the most skilled, but that kind of attitude is why he is no longer here. It is a culture change and no more "I'm better so I deserve this" attitude.

Quotes like that validate Mularkey's statements at the end of the year.

Objectively, though, the couple games this year that Kendall was a focal point of our offense were, IMO, the games our offense looked its scariest and most efficient. He's a really talented player and was unarguably underutilized this year (though, apparently, for good reason).

While Corey Davis is, hopefully, going to transform this offense and be the true #1 wide receiver that we haven't had in a long time, Taywan is (again) hopefully going to be the guy that's the X-factor. He's built and plays similarly to Kendall, so we should hope that he's able to provide what Kendall's attitude kept him from providing last year.

Was just going to come in to post this. Wow. Our Offense could be a real threat if he signs here and Davis/Taylor produce.

Decker-Matthews-Davis-Taylor-Sharpe

Walker-Smith

Murray-Henry

Hopefully the OLine sticks to how they played this past season. This could be exciting.

AYYEEE

Don't let the man leave. I really don't like depending on TWO rookie wideouts to reform the group that was clearly the weak point of our offense last year.

Not saying I don't have faith in Davis and Taylor but adding Decker would be huge. He's a proven vet that can start and produce.

Him & malarkey never saw eye 2 eye, when Kendall pulled the hamstring, malarkey accused him of not trying to push through it & question his worth ethic. It's been reported Kendall showed up late to & slept in meetings.

I am not sure how to feel about Decker.

This move would make a lot more sense if we didnt draft Taylor.

But I suppose a WR group of Mathews, Decker, Sharpe, Davis, and Taylor is pretty damn good.

Decker watch in full effect lets get guys over to watch his every move.

Titans seem to always make a move for a veteran WR every year now so I won't be surprised if they sign him.

McBride and Douglas would probably be cut if Decker is healthy and productive
