It'll be interesting to track and compare recovery timelines because they happened hours from each other.

What was the final diagnosis with Mariota?

Also, creepy coincidence with these injuries...I bought my mom a Carr jersey and my roommate a Mariota jersey and gave them both the jerseys this morning as an early xmas gift to wear today.

I just feel bad for the man. I mean we're all devastated by his injury, imagine how he feels about breaking his leg on Christmas Eve right before the playoffs he almost single handedly got us to? It's just sad. One of the most humble, respectable leaders out there and a guy you want to root for. Silver lining at least for now is that bones seem to have far less long term implications than ligaments/tendons - if there is no additional damage he should make a full recovery, just a matter of being patient while it heals.

Next man up. We're not out yet. Hopefully the rest of the team can make up for it. We've got skill players that are capable of dominating games and a ground game that's been borderline unstoppable. If crabs/amari/Washington/rishard can play out of their minds mcgloin should be solid enough to put points up. Defence is going to really have to step up though, probably a fair statement to say mcgloin is not going to put up 30 points.

I know little to nothing about the injury, the type of break or where it is. The fibula is not a weight bearing bone. They call it the little fib. I broke my fibula.......and my tibia in two places when I was in the military. It was experimental at that time but they wanted to install a plate or screws.
You put a plate in and it strengthens everything. This is not new. I've seen guys walk immediately. Not necessarily play football.

Musgrave's moronic playcalling cost us our shot this year. His ineptitude doesn't change the fact that we weren't expected to even make it this far so fast. A terrible break, pun intended. But the future looks golden, relocation questions aside.
