who do you all think our next coach will be?

who do you want?

I've been hearing things about Sean Payton and Ron Rivera

I wouldn't mind either so long as Payton get's a good d coordinator or Rivera gets a good O coordinator

My wish list is simple. It's Sean Payton followed by John Gruden.

Sean Payton and Kyle shanahan are my front runners.

Gruden said last week that he won't be coaching anytime soon

I'm not believing Gruden because he didn't sound convincing and he still under contract with ESPN with one more MNF game left to call. What do he suppose to say? After that last MNF game and the regular season has officially ended we will see how things play out. Rumors are that he has interest in the job assuming he can get total control which I don't see why he wouldn't get total control.

I had no idea Kevin Demoff's dad represented Kyle Shanahan. He's definitely the front runner.

I agree, I believe Kyle Shanahan and Josh McDaniels are the front runners.

I really wished we hire Harbaugh though.

McDaniels as HC, the Hell no ! A failed product from NE i don't want.

Kyle Shanahan as OC ok but as HC, he doesn't have the experience...

His name always gets dragged around when coaching spots are available both Pros and big universities. I'm still not convinced he would come back to coaching. He signed a deal last year to be at ESPN till 2021. That's a ton of money to leave on the table. Gruden has it made at espn with commentary and his qb camp.

I don't get why so many people want him. He had 4-5 good years in his coaching career while the rest were pedestrian. Take the Gruden name away and he's just another guy imo.

Rumors has it that he has mutual interest in the Rams HC job. Same as Payton has "sincere interest" (as it was stated) in the Rams HC job and is keeping a close eye on the coaching search. We know he just signed a 5-year contract this past offseason with the Saints. My point is the Rams HC job is very attractive and we just have to talk about guys like Gruden and Payton as potential candidates not just as talk but serious because Stan will pay big, give all the power, and it's LA with a young talented roster looking to win now and not wait years to rebuild. Plus we know Gruden is high on Goff and maybe Payton is high on Goff too and understands Brees don't have but a few years left and a Saints team without Brees could be scary bad which my best friend (who is a Saints fan) and I have talked about and agree on.

Fisher was also high on GOff. I don't understand the high on GOff thing, it doesn't mean the HC would be good because he was high on a player...

I have way more confidence in Gruden or Payton or even guys like Shanahan or McDaniels developing Goff than I did with Fisher. I'm just pointing it out.

Sure hope its not Gruden. Same [inappropriate/removed] different day.

Fine with Payton, Shanahan, or McDaniels (even since his Rams days).

Don't waste your time getting excited about Payton. It won't happen. Benson will never fire him and Loomis.

I would gladly let you take him though, things are stagnant here in Saints land.
