With everything going on this season and BA putting a lot of it on the players and none of it on the coaches. Now with Floyd getting cut and the players not sounding to happy about it. Leads me to belive he has or he very close to losing them.

What do you guys think?

I think players are just upset but they still love BA so everything is ok.

The players loved the Whiz at one point also.

I'm gonna tread lightly on this one until I see the last quarter of the season play out.

Don't think the Justin Bethel comments helped him any, in all honesty.

Or does the unanimous decision to release Michael Floyd

His entire coaching staff being hired on the basis of their friendship with him will be his ultimate undoing.

I heard an interesting comment from a local radio show here in St. Louis. One of Arians' former players that's from St. Louis is a co-host on the show and was asked what happened to the Cardinals this year? And his response was pretty interesting. He pretty much said, and I don't have any direct quotes...

Bruce Arians happened. Bruce Arians is all about Bruce Arians. There's a reason its taken him so long to find a head coaching job. His style gets old real quick. He's like a Rex Ryan.

Rex Ryan might be the exact comparison I needed

I agree with Champ on this. You have to see how this team plays over the next few weeks (and its not win loss record, its effort).

I personally think the guys on this team should be looking at him funny with his comments and actions

These next two games are the perfect benchmark. Eliminated from playoff contention, two games on the road, both against heated division rivals. These next two weeks will tell me all I need to know about whether or not this train has truly de-railed.

The team really showed up the last two weeks.

Question then becomes what happened earlier in the year. Was it a product of a couple of demoralizing losses early in the season due to special teams gaffes leading to some further poor performances? The NFL can very much be an emotional and momentum driven game.

He certainly hasn't lost the locker room after watching those last few weeks, the question now becomes has he lost his mind or not

That is a good question. Not looking for a new specail team coach is concerning.
