Id rather see a family game night. Chess, checkers, operation, trivial pursuit, etc.

I would pay money to see some players in this league play Trivial Pursuit.

Put Goodell in a dunk tank and every player who knocks him into the water gets a get out of jail free card.

That's must see tv

Dodgeball? Jesus. Guys like Matthew Stafford and Joe Flacco could kill someone.

Someone is gonna get injured in dodgeball if it gets competitive.
No one wants to be shone up.

Laughing I like this idea. But something tells that most players would "accidentally" miss the target and hit Goodell instead.

Lol that could actually be fun. Throw in scattergories, apples to apples, and cards against humanity

Terrible idea. WTF
People would watch it.
People like us, yes. Casual fans, Hell no.

Hater on the front lines

They should add Billiards, Ping Pong and Poker too. It might improve the ratings.

Finally, long overdue. Idk why they took it out in the first place

And they'll stop doing it the first time a guy tears an ACL.

I actually love the idea, I miss the skills competitions and the stuff that let you see sides of guys you don't see when they're playing football.

I'm nearly 100% positive that the reason they removed it in the first place was exactly that, some guy tore his ACL doing one of the competitions.

And I agree - it'll be back until the year it happens again.

If I am not mistaken that was the Rookie Beach Flag Football game that was cancelled on account of stud rookie Running back Robert Edwards tearing his ACL on the beach and effectively ending his career for the most part.

I'm not sure enough people care about the players personally to watch something like that. There aren't as many individual star personalities as there used to be.

Dodgeball should be

Corners vs Wideouts/Tight ends
OL vs DL
LBs and Safeties vs running backs
QBs vs QBs
Punters vs Kickers

Dodgeball? That sounds amazing.
If that proves too "dangerous" I think they could even pull off a softball game, golf, putt putt golf, go cart races with gopro galore, mic everyone up and set them loose on a theme park. People watch that stuff, I bet casual fans would tune in if they did it right.

I would tune in to watch RG3 and Jay Cutler play Magic: The Gathering versus the drivel they call a Pro Bowl game.

And actually, that isn't a bad idea to me. NFL players playing Dungeons and Dragons, paintball, hell I would watch running backs, WRs, and DBs playing freeze tag. It doesn't take much to be more interesting then the product they have put out routinely.
