Josh Robinson is signing with the Buccaneers: 2 years, $6.5M, including $3.5 guaranteed, per source.

There it is. Glad to have him back. Softens the blow from losing Shep.

That's reassuring. I was getting worried once we missed out on Shep.

Since Humphries was literally giving Jackson the shirt on his back, it was only fair that he write a check, but the two worked out a smart, kind compromise, with Jackson pledging to make a donation to a children's charity in Tampa. Humphries declined to say how much the donation would be, but said he'll do something as well in his hometown of Spartanburg, S.C.

"We both had a good idea it'd be good to help out a local charity, to help the kids out locally," Humphries said. "For him to be a new member of the Tampa Bay area, it's good for him to get involved like that. The money wasn't really that big a deal, so we wanted to help out. It's just something good to come out of a little fun between two teammates."

Good for Shephard to get paid. Totally understandable why Licht wouldn't match. Assuming Robinson gets resigned, Smith and him have been excellent gunners on the punt coverage. Depth chart heading into the draft is probably the following:

-Evans
-DJax
-Humphries
-Huff
-Walker
-Martino

anyway we could get VJax back on a friendly contract? our 4th receiver and onward are such garbage

I'm so glad he is signed. Anger, Robinson and Smith were a terrific weapon for field position. Now just have to fix the field goals, which I think will hapoeb

I don't think VJAX will be back. I know Koetter liked Huff coming out of Oregon. Really couldn't expect that much from him coming in so late. Pretty confident Licht is going to draft a WR by the 4th round those year.

Unless V. Jack is coming back in a coaching position I'd pass.

Yeah. But who in the league has five or six good WRs?

But I'm on board with taking a WR in the first few rounds.

lets not forget we still have Louis Murphy under contract. Also I like Huff and would like to see what he can do with a full off season in this offense. Add another young talent from the draft and we have a solid reciever group. I like V jax but I'd pass on resigning him. Would be a great ambassador for the team but no thanks to another contract.

Tom Brady is why they're always Super Bowl contenders. It has nothing to do with the depth they have at WR. Laughing
