Myles Garrett is closer to JPP than DeMarcus Ware. I think people are going to be surprised as to how big he actually is. Barnett makes sense, though. McDowell is 270 pounds. MoWilk had the highest single-season sack total of any 300+-pounder since Warren Sapp. That one doesn't make sense at all IMO.

Can't think of a Takk comparison, but his pad level issues are very similar to Paul Kruger.

I think Jon Allen is somewhere on the Adrian Clayborn-Kerry Hyder spectrum the moment he walks into the league.

Tim Williams is a lot like Bruce Irvin coming out (good thing IMO.)

Revisiting some of my RB comps after doing proper evaluations on Fournette and Cook.

Fournette reminds my of Larry Johnson or a supped up Jeremy Hill. My biggest negative on him is his unbalanced build. He has a massive upper body which makes shoestring and arm tackles to his lower half more successful than they should be for a guy of his size.

I was more impressed my Cook in the games I looked at (although Fournette plays in a much more 2-dimensional offense and faced superior defenses). I can definitely see where the Charles comparisons come from. Running comes easy to Cook and he can change direction easily without dropping his pads. He's doesn't have traditional one-cut burst, but his speed builds up smoothly and quickly until no one in the second level can catch him. He doesn't run with much power or urgency, but I could see him adding a bit of weight to his frame without sacrificing what makes him special. He's not as powerful, but he reminds me of Edgerrin James and is a perfect fit on a team who runs a lot of outside zone.

I know Hyder is comign off a nice year, but those aren't the most flattering comps. Do you not rate Allen that high or you specifically talking physique comp here?

I really like the Williams/Irvin comp.

Solomon Thomas declared correct? Does anyone have a good comp for him, Caleb Brantley, and Montravous Adams?

He doesn't have the technique Donald has though. In terms of explosion and flat out brute strength im those areas alone he looks similar to Suh.

Couldn't be further off in my eyes. You can't make the Donald comparison without elite quickness and speed at his size. If anything, Allen is Donald.

I'm not saying it, haven't seen any real break-ups of Thomas to much yet. Only full game I've watched of him was his bowl game.

I've just been seeing on Twitter and some other website comparing him to Donald.

My latest comp is TJ Watt
He reminds me of a mix between Ben Leber(if u remember him) and Mike Vrabel. I don't ever see an elite pass rusher, but a strong run stopping, some coverage, some pass rush, heady leader type.

Haven't watched much of Brantley at all

I would say role wise Solomon Thomas will play the Justin Tuck role in a 43 defense. I don't see him carving out a career as an under tackle, but he could add a lot of value bumping inside on 3rd downs.

I'm a huge Montravius Adams fan. I would compare him to a more explosive but somewhat less stout Linval Joseph.

Montravious Adams=SenDerrick Marks
Caleb Brantley=Poor Man's Aaron Donald; Rich Man's Jay Bromley
Solomon Thomas=I can get with the Tuck comparison.
