For the Falcons 4 big positions of need are DE, DT, FS, and RG.

Lawson - DE + A+ - edge rusher to go along with Beastley works for me.

Price - OG - A+ - Fits our zone scheme perfectly and is a stud OG prospect imo.

Brantley - DT - A+ - I would be happy with him in the 1st 2 rounds but in the 3rd it's a massive steal to me. Huge need and great pick.

Ford - FS - A+ - One of my fav. safety prospects in the draft and a guy i think has 1st round to 2nd round talent.

So in the 1st 4 picks you hit every need we had with great talent and great scheme fits. You killed our draft and the next few picks wouldn't even matter at this point.

Connor - RB - A+ Then you grab a great power back for us who has tremendous upside to team with Freeman and Coleman.

Heck - OT - A+ - Anytime you can build quality o-line depth this late in the draft is always a win.

Nickerson - LB - A+ - Same as Heck once the needs are met you work on quality depth across the board going BPA. Big fan of his and i think he could have gone 5th round truthfully.

You took alot of my ideas from earlier and put them in here im glad you looked into it and thought i made some very valid points for the falcons and used some of them.

I think you and Diesel have the 2 best falcon drafts on the board right now and come draft day if they ended up like either of yalls i would be thrilled like i was the last 2 drafts we had.

Quote:
27. Atlanta Falcons: Carl Lawson DE/OLB, Auburn
59. Atlanta Falcons: Billy Price OG, Ohio State
91. Atlanta Falcons: Caleb Brantley DT, Florida
130. Atlanta Falcons: Johnathan Ford S, Auburn
174. Atlanta Falcons: James Conner RB, Pittsburgh
210. Atlanta Falcons: Jon Heck OT, North Carolina
246. Atlanta Falcons: Hardy Nickerson ILB, Illinois

So, if this draft actually happened, I'd be a very happy man. Depth at RB, OT and LB. competition at FS. Great scheme fits for the defensive line rotation at EDGE (LEO) and DT (3T). And a guy who could start at RG and upgrade the spot. This would be a very good draft for Atlanta.

I won't knock that update for the Vikings. I think that the pieces make a lot of sense that are added.

Props for doing a 7 rounder

Quote:
23. Pittsburgh Steelers: Takkarist McKinley DE/OLB, UCLA

Awesome first pick.
Quote:
55. Pittsburgh Steelers: Samaje Perine RB, Oklahoma

I would disagree on this not because the Steeler might pick up a RB but this high. They will franchise Bell so he will be back. Cameron Sutton CB, Tennessee or Tre’Davious White CB, LSU or even ( my favorite) Ryan Anderson OLB, Alabama could go here.

Quote:
87. Pittsburgh Steelers: Dion Dawkins OT, Temple

They do not need to take any OL in this draft. They have Hawkins ( who looked good in preseason) plus Hubbard and Finney. Marquez White CB, Florida State or Cooper Kupp WR, Eastern Washington or Eddie Jackson S, Alabama would work.
Quote:
126. Pittsburgh Steelers: Alex Anzalone ILB, Florida

Not sure about this one. has yet to play a full season and at OLB. Could be drafted too high. I would go Deatrich Wise Jr. DE/OLB Arkansas here.
Quote:
Quote:
170. Pittsburgh Steelers: Jordan Thomas CB, Oklahoma

No problem
Quote:
206. Pittsburgh Steelers: Keionta Davis DE/DT, Chattanooga

no problem. i like Davis
Quote:
242. Pittsburgh Steelers: Deyshawn Boyd C, Cincinnati

See the 3rd round pick. Steelers do not need any OL in this draft. I would go DeAngelo Yancey WR Purdue.
Quote:
254. Pittsburgh Steelers (comp): Dalvin Tomlinson DT, Alabama

In general, the Steeler need at least 1 EDGE rusher and could easily take 2. CB and safety for depth. DE for depth. WR is a need and RB for Depth.

Great job overall, the only disagreement I have with the Broncos draft is the drafting of 2 S. We just re-signed Darian Stewart, TJ Ward is still under contract, and we drafted Justin Simmons and Will Parks in last years draft. Unless you project one of them as a LB/S Hybrid, or as a CB (which you also had us drafting), there is no need.

2. San Francisco 49ers: Mitch Trubisky QB, North Carolina
34. San Francisco 49ers: Raekwon McMillan ILB, Ohio State
66. San Francisco 49ers: Isaiah Ford WR, Virginia Tech
105. San Francisco 49ers: Devonte Fields DE/OLB, Louisville
143. San Francisco 49ers (comp): Eddie Vanderdoes DE/DT, UCLA
149. San Francisco 49ers: Jehu Chesson WR, Michigan
171. San Francisco 49ers (via WAS): James Conner RB, Pittsburgh
185. San Francisco 49ers: Darrell Daniels TE, Washington
201. San Francisco 49ers (via DEN): Joshua Dobbs QB, Tennessee
220. San Francisco 49ers (via CLE): J.J. Dielman C, Utah
221. San Francisco 49ers: Ahkello Witherspoon CB, Colorado

would IMHO be just a little bit better - they need OLB and NT help and Fields and Vanderdoes might come with some baggage but have a nice upside as well.

Positions all look like they fill needs. I can't really complain this far away from the draft.

18. Philadelphia Eagles (via MIN): Sidney Jones CB, Washington
40. Philadelphia Eagles: Courtland Sutton WR, SMU
73. Philadelphia Eagles: D’Onta Freeman RB, Texas
111. Philadelphia Eagles: Cooper Kupp WR, Eastern Washington
136. Philadelphia Eagles (via CLE, comp): Da’Shawn Hand DE/DT, Alabama
156. Philadelphia Eagles: Erik Magnuson OT, Michigan
191. Philadelphia Eagles: KD Cannon WR, Baylor
228. Minnesota Vikings (via PHI): Josh Reynolds WR, Texas A&M

1st - Top need addressed with top pick. Sidney Jones is a good one and popular on our boards as well.

2nd - Let me just say, I got really cranky when we passed on Cook with our second round pick, he's a difference maker IMO and will probably go first round. That said Courtland Sutton is a good WR prospect and definitely a need for our team.

3rd - D'Onta Foreman isn't a bad consolation prize if skipping Cook in the second, should step right in and compete for playing time as a rookie.

4th - Double dipping on WR isn't a terrible idea, especially if we miss out on the FAs. Kupp is an intriguing prospect because he's uber productive and has all the measurements but is constantly going in the 4th in mocks. I'll take the risk. Da'Shawn Hand is a good pick for depth at both DT and DE which is lacking IMO.

5th - OL prospect, check

6th - Another WR!? At least Cannon is a solid value and our WR corps will look completely different next season.

7th - Minnesota only gets our 7th if they reach the NFC championship game which seems like a long shot. That said I would love to see it happen because it means we'll get either a second or a third next season from them instead of the 4th.

Overall I think 3 WRs out of 7 picks is a little crazy and I would prefer to see a little more diversity in the picks. but overall good job, hit all of our needs.

Yes this is a good draft. Although we would need to sign a right tackle and a safety in free agency.

Jets will go with Leonard Fournette, i have no doubt about this. He will be a beast for them for a long time.

Has a Denver fan told you how bad this is for them yet?

It's pretty bad.
