How about offering McCarron and a mid round pick to the Jets for Sheldon Richardson, allowing us to zero in on Foster?

I would do that in a heartbeat

I'd be surprised if that gets it done. Wouldn't Richardson be more of a DT in our system?

Agreed, that is a Madden trade only.

I'm honestly on the Reuben Foster bandwagon.

I'd be very happy with any of those "realistic" picks. Those are all guys that I think can be game changers on our defense.

Me too. We would desperately need a DE in the 2nd round then. But he would be fantastic for our defense

Me too, the guy is huge, fast, and instinctive. LB, RDE, or WR in Rd 1 for me.

What do you guys think of Tanoh Kpassagnon the DE from Villanova? 6'7 290 lbs. so he definitely fits the size requirement.

I'm all aboard the Ruben Foster bandwagon as well. Draft him #9 overall and then take Kpassagnon in the 2nd round...

That works for me. he's a guy I would look at in round two, along with Taco, DeMarcus walker and a few others.

As a side note, wouldn't it be funny to take reuben in the first and Taco in the second? We had the Toys R Us defensive line. Nowwe could have the lunch wagon crew?

One position I can see us using an earlier pick on than some may assume is a TE. Eifert has back issues, Kroft who knows. Usama is ok, but Eifert is also in a contract year. I can see us taking another one in the first 2 days this year.

Not at all. I like Uzomah a good deal. Kroft isn't bad either. Hell, Eifert is great when he's healthy and we barely utilize him on a weekly basis. He has some good games and then other games where he has like 2 targets, which makes zero sense. With this coaching staff/scheme, we definitely don't need to waste a pick on a top TE...

I love Eifert. But his most recent back injury could be scary. Also in a contract year. Kroft is struggling to stay healthy. I like Uzomah as well, but he is a 3rd TE. I'm just saying, I wouldn't be shocked

I don't see it this year. Maybe next year.
