Matts, tis better to stay home and 'bate than to take her bait. Laughing

All joking aside, WH & Slam are right. She is playing mind games. She appears to be getting off on having some kind of power over you. Stay strong brother. You've got my number. Call, text, whatever anytime you need to.

So the STBX (soon to be ex) and I have been on fairly peaceful terms lately. But today at the kids basketball games (both played today) she was being super flirty. Like, in my face, sexual aggression type flirty. Which I have mixed emotions about. My head says thats a bad idea to engage but my head says "YOU IDIOT TAKE ADVANTAGE THIS COULD BE A WHILE". So right as we leave I make the comment "Well we still are married for the time being" - to which she replies "No we not, not in my mind". Ouch. WTF, that stung. Later I drop some stuff at her (our old) house. She comes out to the car and is literally attempting to make out with me, using her umm.. assets... if you know what I mean. She tells me a few times she misses me, etc etc. Ill spare the whole conversation, but out of nowhere she then said "Im over you completely and this marriage". Seriously blindsided as she is basically attempting to seduce me in the driveway at the same time.

So I piece the puzzle together and basically ask her if I am a booty call and if her other comments meant that she no longer considers us monogamous.

She text me: Your not *just* a booty call. And no, we are no longer monogamous (we just filed in June and wont be divorced until at least Aug/Sept).

I really am not sure how to process this. Both emotionally and logically that is a lot of information to take in.

That is an eff'd up mind game, man. Don't even take the bait or give it a second thought. "I miss you" ... "I'm over you completely" within the same conversation. Yeah, [inappropriate/removed] that noise.

Agreed. She's still trying to exercise some degree of control over you and that's what the mixed signals are about. Obviously, for the kids sake, you have to be respectful but still understand this is a manipulation.

Run Matts.....run like hell in the other direction, so all we can see are arse and elbows. Easy for me to say, but nothing good will come from how that looks. At least from the outside looking in.

Hang in there man.

So today she told me "You will never be with another girl as hot as I am". Which is probably true. Im good looking, but she was a dime when we met. Legit one of the hottest chicks on the entire campus. After having 2 kids and the accompanying changes to her body, she is still way up there. But it reminded me of an important life lesson:

At least she is humble. Eh? Rolling Eyes

Obviously, none of us know the situation, her personality, etc. Honestly though, from what you've posted, she seems kind of manipulative and self centered right now. I know it really sucks, especially since kids are involved, but this might not be the worst thing to ever happen to you brother. Stay strong. Reach out if you need to.

One piece of advice, if you are going for custody of the kiddos, save all texts and document everything. The more ammo you have showing how she seems to be acting, the better your chances.

Yo Matts, sorry to hear you're going through a tough time. Your favorite clowns of the Eagles forum beta are asking about you. If you need to release some frustration you know we'll have your back.

Matts, Sorry about the difficulties you are going through right now with your divorce.

I just wanted to remind you that everything you are posting on the forum is public and anyone can read it. I know it seems like you are just discussing it with a few friends in the Cowboys forum, but the whole world can see what you are posting.

It's in your best interest to not discuss all the divorce proceedings on a public forum. I can understand the need for support and advice from your friends on here, but it's much better for you if you do this privately.

Webby - thanks for the heads up, something my e-lawyer (*cough* SLAM *cough*) should have warned me about.

Yeah, I need to get set up over there. Was waiting until the majority of posters had transitioned. I had been in contact with Kilty, he said he applied for Jobs in Austin - I let him know I need a roommate, haha.

While this is certainly good advice, Webby, you should probably be aware that ht went through a divorce several years ago. And the forum helped set him up with several hotties. Now ht has moved on and he's never been happier.

We owe to Matts to give him the same support we gave ht.

You know that feeling you get when your evil [inappropriate/removed] of a boss has her boss show up unannounced, walk into her office, close the door, you hear raised voices and then your boss leaves crying? Yeah, it is glorious. Twisted Evil

She was put on administrative leave. Technically, she was suspended for a week & will be on probation for a month.
