So I will be in Dallas the 14th, 15th leaving the 16th. My day is pretty much tied up on the 15th, but I need some suggestions on what to do in Dallas. Places to eat and such. I have hopes to go to the Pecan Lodge, Tailgate Tavern, and Whataburger. We will be staying in Hurst does anyone have any suggestions on what else to do and eat?

Whataburger sucks, unless you like flat hamburgers which like nothing but salt. Literally, think about the Whammy Burger from the movie Falling Down.

Pecan Lodge is great, as is Hutchins BBQ up in McKinney.

Pick between Pecan Lodge and Hutchins which would you go to?

I am a huge BBQ guy, where in the Dallas/Arlington area is the best BBQ you can find?

In my opinion, those are the two best places to go. I love them both, actually. Pecan Lodge is more "mild" where Hutchins is a little more "spicy" (but not "hot") or "sharp". Personally, I prefer Hutchins, but they're both amazing.

So. Effing. Good.

Keep in mind, McKinney TX is not close to Arlington. Deep Ellum (where Pecan Lodge is located) is a lot closer to Arlington.

I used to live in McKinney (now I'm about 5 mins NW in Prosper) and it's about a 75-80 min hike out to Arlington depending on when you go so I imagine the opposite way is similar. If Pecan Lodge is just as good, it's going to be much closer

Romo and Witten went to Cabo for a few days on their Bye Week and the world blew it up just like they're doing now. I don't think either is a big deal

There is no overlap on voters.

Pro Bowl is coaches, players, fans. All Pro is media.

I have a feeling that his Pro Bowl snub got him some goodwill with those voters. Wanted to recognize him.

Never understood that. Wasn't that the game where we basically had 1 drive for a td that took the entire 2nd quarter, but 35 secs, and the D let Eli drive down and score a td in 35 secs? Maybe the D should have went to Cabo.

I interviewed Darren Woodson today and had to fight every impulse in me as a man not to hug him when I walked into his office.
