Yes. Now there are four HOF members from the 1997-98 Bronco teams. Atwater should be the the fifth one, and some say that Nalen should get a look as well (he had five Pro Bowl appearances and 2 All-Pro nominations).

Credit is due for Legwold for getting TD into the HoF. It sounds like Legwold was instrumental in working behind-the-scenes to sway voters.

I'm glad Davis got in, but don't agree with it. He had a great, but short career. Letting Davis in means that guys like Priest Holmes, Shaun Alexander, and Jamal Lewis should get in as well.

Longevity should be part of the criteria. None of the above names had that. Now that Davis is in anyone who put forth an elite 3-4 years should be in as well.

None of those RBs were the best at their position; TD was...without a question.

If anyone wants to attend TD's induction, the NFL HoF offers some packages:

There's not much comparison between TD and those you mentioned. Each of those guys played about 10 years and never achieved what Davis did in his 1st 4.

His career basically ended in his 4th game of his 5th season. His regular season awards and accomplishments prior to that speak for themselves and statistically he's the best post season RB in history.

Add in the two SB rings and SB MVP. It's safe to say he had the most incredible 4 year career of any RB in history.
