Since most of all the underclassmen have declared to this point I think this is a good time to start this thread.

So before all the offseason smoke comes around call your shots based on the football not the combine and other BS that going to happen in the next few months.

This thread is for the people who watch the team and think their decision making is going to line up with the scouts.

I'll give some of my called shots.

1. Ryan Anderson will be drafted above Tim Williams and Williams falls out the first round

2. Trubisky, Kizer, and Watson will all go top 6

3. Kizer will be picked over Watson

4. A team will trade up for Mike Williams in the first round

6. Joe Mixon goes no higher than the 6th round

7. Patrick Mahomes is the 4th QB selected

8. Two Tight ends go in the first round

9. Jabril Peppers is picked outside the top 20 picks

10. Only two running backs go in the first round

11. Jerod Evans goes in the 2nd round

12. Malik Hooker and Jamal Adams go top 12

13. Jonathan Allen is either traded up to get or falls out the top 5

14. Tanoh Kpassagnon goes in the first round

15.Four receivers go in the first round

Love the thread idea and love your list. Thought the ryan anderson over tim williams point was interesting and Jerod Evans in round 2 would be a wild draft momemnt.

Here's a quick few of mine:

1. Reuben Foster, Malik Hooker, or Jamal Adams go number 2 to the 49ers.

2. Malik Hooker and Jamal Adams go in the top 6.

3. The cleveland browns don't draft a QB until the 5th or 6th round.

4. Watson and Trubisky fall out of the top 10.

5. Derek Barnett still goes before Solomon Thomas.

6. No corners selected in the top 10

7. The first dlineman selected outside of the top 12 is Taco Charlton.

I'll make 2 predictions:

1. All four of the top QBs (Mahomes, Watson, Trubisky, Kizer) are off the board by pick 13

2. Mahomes will either be the 2nd, or 3rd QB selected, not the 4th.

Reasoning:

6 of the top 12 picks are to 5 teams that are completely QB destitute right now. (Cleveland, San Fran, Chicago, Jets, Bills, Cleveland again)

A further 4 are potentially in the market for a guy to groom to replace an aging QB or have a QB who isn't playing well.
(Jax, Chargers, New Orleans, Arizona)

And two further teams (Denver and Houston) may trade up inside the top 10 to grab a guy, out of desperation, when the run on QBs starts.

People always overestimate the extent to which teams will force QB picks. Which is kind of surprising because teams definitely force QB picks. Laughing

1. Corey Davis is drafted before Mike Williams.
2. Taywan Taylor doesn't see the 3rd RD.
3. Marcus Williams is the 3rd Safety off the boad.
4. Ifeadi Odenigbo is drafted before Deshon Hall.
5. Kareem Hunt is drafted before Wayne Gallman.
6. Nate Gerry is drafted before Marcus Maye.

Part of the reasoning is that I don't really feel that there's a clear order between the top 4 prospects, and I think different teams are going to end up having vastly different top 4 rankings.

Team one might dismiss Kizer for inconsistency. Team two might dismiss Trubisky for hand size or games started. Team three might dismiss Mahomes for TTs offensive scheme... etc... So what I think happens is multiple teams and up believing they're getting their top 1-2 QB, even if it's the 3rd or 4th QB selected.

1) Someone (probably the Jets) trades up with Cleveland to select Mitch Trubisky
2) Takkarist McKinley goes top 15
3) Marlon Humphrey is the first corner taken
4) 2 running backs in the top 10

That's all I got.

I don't know, man. I feel like this is sounding a lot like 2013 when people tried to push QBs into the top 10 to 15 picks because there wasn't a clear-cut guy.

Two teams trade up to take QBs in the first round.

Watson is the 2nd QB taken.

Fournette isn't drafted until the late teens at the earliest. Cook is right behind him.

Bucky Hodges is the 2nd TE taken after Howard.

Kaaya goes ahead of Evans.

- The Bears don't go QB in Round 1.
- The Browns trade their 2nd pick in Round 1 down to get more picks
- Watson and Trubisky are only QB's to go in top 10
- My Colts attempt to trade up to get Fournette
