Ahhhh, sorry to see that the Colts went down before the Chiefs in what had to be considered a winnable game, at home. This drops Indianapolis to 3-5, I think it is?, and first place in the AFC South just got a little less attainable.

Oh, well.

I was unable to actually watch the game, and I have been assured that this is vital. I had to content myself with the game summary. Apparently Nick Foles (that passing wizard) game in off the bench after Alex Smith got injured and scorched the defense with 16/22 for 223 yd and 2 TD's; a QB rating of 135.2. Now! If any of you pundits were fortunate enough to have viewed the game, perhaps you can elaborate? What transpired, Colts' fans?

Well, gosh- since none of the canny observers got to actually see the game, I found a good article about it. It mostly lauds the Chiefs, and Nick Foles, but it also goes into the Colts' woes:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/10/30/no-alex-smith-no-problem-for-chiefs-in-30-14-win/

"...and their offensive line turned in a dismal effort. Andrew Luck was sacked six times- 3.5 courtesy of linebacker Dee Ford- and wound up as the team's leading rusher thanks to his many scrambles out of the pocket..."

This looks like another lost season for this team, to bad to see Luck, a top 5-10 qB in the league, wasted like this.

You're right, tom. It's a shame, both to see all that talent that Andrew Luck has being squandered by mediocre support; and the unwarranted amount of blame he gets for the Colts' failures. I wonder how well he would do- and what fans of other teams would say about him- if he had a good O-line in front of him and a good receiver or two?
