Oakland-Houston. That's an awful game.

Right now, the only hope for NE to lose in the AFC is the championship game (against PIT or KC). I see the Texans and Steelers winning WC Weekend, and the Texans have no shot in Foxborough.

NE seems tough to beat right now, but they have defeated some below-average teams since their Seattle loss on Nov. 13th. I also think that their defense is a mirage.

it's such a tough pill to swallow this season because if Denver has a mediocre offensive line they'd have a great chance to repeat .

Oakland looks like a team that gave up on their season two weeks ago.

As a Toub guy, rooting for an absolute demolition of Vance's unit may be the way to go. It is working so far.

Gase deserves a ton of credit for the season turnaround in MIA, but man, it's a brutal game he's called today. He had PIT's best CB hurt in the 2Q when they were at the PIT 10 only down 14 points, where a score put them right back in the game and getting the ball back to start the 3Q, and then called a play away from his replacement, and Moore took the strip sack. That was the game right there.

Plus, he's been so run heavy - Ajayi torched PIT for 200+ yards, but that was Pouncey playing. MIA hasn't been the same since he went down. And PIT's D is healthy - I remember they were missing their best DL and LB when they played MIA. Yet Gase keeps calling run on 1st/2nd down, and putting their backup QB in a zero-margin situation each 3rd down. Awful.

The giants are really blowing this. A couple awful defensive lapses to end the first half. The play calling is super disappointing on offense though. They can throw all over this packers secondary and they're staying way too balanced. This Packers secondary is asking to be exploited, yet McAdoo plays into their strength, the run d.

The drops - ODB's on what could have been a first & goal, his subsequent drop in the end zone and then Shepard's in the end zone on the next possession - it could have been, and should have been, 14-0 Giants at the end of the first instead of 3-0 Giants.

OBD is the East Coast's version of DT - elite talent who drops the easiest of passes in the biggest of moments. Go ahead and give him $18m/year Jerry Reese, ask Elway how well that investment has worked out here.

Demaryius Thomas is far from the problem on the Broncos currently. The guy has an excellent chance to be Denver's all-time leading receiver. He had a down year but still amassed nearly 1100 yards and 5TDs with a passing game that was incredibly inconsistent (to be generous).

Considering the makeup on the offense, we're lucky Demaryius Thomas and Sanders are here. The WR corp is an absolute joke.

The latter point is one with which I agree.

The former, however, who cares about career stats? It's a pass-first league now and DT's stats were SOOOOOOOOO inflated thanks to the Peyton-Gase offense.

Now, Elway had to pay him as failing to do so could have caused problems with the players in the locker room. But DT has been barely average since Peyton left. Emmanuel Sanders the best WR on this team and it isn't close.
