My mind is telling me Garrett...

We NEED to draft edge rush and Edge protection

There is no position group older or in more need.

RB is a gimme FA aquisition.

They are cheap, expendable and totally reliant on oline.

Someone needs to dust up on their classic R&B...

Let me translate: I realize that we need Garrett, but I want Fournette. You don't need to explain to me why a DE/OT is more important than a RB.

I got the reference... just continuing the debate.

side note - my body is also telling me Fournette...

Sure would be nice to have an AP caliber RB with Cams talent.

What would that do when we have no outside oline to block for him.

I agree with the posts above. DE and OT are our min concerns and what we need to address in the draft, please no reaches though.

The fournette discussion is luxury pick, ideal world, all things being equal fantasy land.

We're just saying how awesome it would be to have that kinda two-headed monster in the backfield. Good luck game-planning for that.

However, to bring it into the realm of possibility... if we can take care of our two primary concerns (OT and Pass rush) in FA (doubt it) than we could see Fournette.

Stew's contract is in cut-able range after this season and he is oft-injured.

CAP and Fozzy are not long-term solutions.

Fournette... good lawd. If he is what he's cracked up to be (and with some time to rest now), he could add a dimension to this offense that would be devastating to opposing defenses... assuming, that is, he has someone to block for him.
