you can see it in his play. He jumps side to side to stay in front of the WR soooooooooo well. probably just needed some hands technique and ball skill work

Yeah. Right on.

Whereas Cooper was making a name for himself with big game Int's and a few breakups, Mitchell is making a name for himself with great technique/skill and by just not allowing catches. Nothing's for sure, but this guy may be the real deal.

I can't stand Chris Collinsworth, but he raved on T.Mitchell the other night. Very complimentary to the Chiefs DB's in general.

From what I read the Cowboys really wanted to keep Mitchell but had a rookie named Butler doing well so they cut him. Butler btw is a starter next to Carr.

Mitchell ain't perfect so I'd still like an investment there, but he's doing well for now.

Source: the Chiefs have signed LB Victor Ochi off of the Jets' practice squad. From offseason prep to a first round bye for Ochi.

Dadi Nicholas replacement?

"No, they expect Dadi to be ready to roll in 2 weeks, instead Ochi is in and they are demoting Dee Ford to the practice squad due to incompetence, not recording a sack since week 10, and playing the piano during prime time games."

Don't wanna hijack a thread, and wasn't sure where to put this so here goes:

What is your guys' take on Ware going forward? I was a big fan of his, but it seemed like he slowed down as the season progressed. Admittedly this question has its basis in Fantasy Football but I am legitimately curious to his prospects as the KC RB.

Two more additions:

Wilson, Julian (DB) (reserve/future contract)
Ratelle, Will (FB) (reserve/future contract)

My take here:

But you can always open a new thread ....

My take is he will be the backup and terrific change of pace guy for Charles next year. With better run blocking, he might become a star...he's got everything except his below average speed and average acceleration hinders him with this OL much of the time.

One player gone:

Quote:
New York Jets ‏@nyjets

We have signed WR Frankie Hammond to a reserve/future contract.

Expected him to leave after he was not signed during the first round of re-signings. Given the actual depth at WR he would have had a hard time to find a slot on the roster.
