It's not often that get the opportunity to get a huge lead in the NFC west this early. This is a more important division game than usual because of where the standings are. The difference of going 5-1 with the Cards being 3-4 and going 4-2 with the cards 4-3 is astronomical. We have an opportunity to gain distance on the #2 spot that they could spend the whole season trying to make up.

Key players:

Tylet Lockett

Frank Clark

We need these two to come up big this week. Lockett has to get involved this season, not sure what's going on with him and his connection with Russ. Peterson is balling right now and will give Baldwin all he can handle, we need a solid #2 performance from Tyler. Clark is our best pass rusher so far this season, though Avril closed the gap fast last week. A gimpy Palmer needs to relentlessly rushed all night and we need to force him into some errant throws and questionable passes. We'll have to sacrifice giving up some big plays, but in the long run, the 3rd down stops and turnovers produced will be worth it. Our offense is likely going to struggle in Arizona, we have to get some turnovers to win this one

Our run D has been excellent this season besides the 4th quarter against the 49ers. Hopefully we contain David Johnson.

Michael Floyd always shows up against us. Him and Shead will be the matchup to watch.

I think Jimmy will have a big game if Russ gives him the opportunities.

My weekly you tube of 4 - 5 NFL ATS selections includes Hawks at Cards.
Take a view. I don't like the week but oh, well. If you want to find it and fast forward, it's the last game with a quick analysis.
Otherwise, there are some nice tidbits of information along the way.

Would be surprised if we dont win by 10 or more. Arizona is not that good this season.

David Johnson vs Reed, Bennett, Wagner, Wright, Chancellor.
Russell Wilson vs Campbell, Golden, Jones, Peterson, Mathieu.

Key aspects of this game, no doubt.

RW's legs are usually the difference in Glendale. He has absolutely embarrassed our defense on that field.

If the ankle limits his mobility I like our chances a lot more. Jones & Golden are also the most athletic ends we've had so they have a better chance to contain him.

^^^
Russ wont be mobile but he has been impressive from the pocket so far this season. New york has a better D line than you in my opinion and he lit them up. It will all depend on our incompetent OC's gameplan and how we utilize the quick passes.

Although I like your chances at pass rushing more than i like our chance of getting a good game called. Laughing

Now that we've passed on virtually every play, I expect Bevell to run 3 straight times next possession.

Quick slant to Graham off of play action and/or get a blast from Michael for 99 yds.

It's time to look for our Jon Ryan replacement. Can't remember the last time he did something exceptionally well. He's just kinda there. That punt in particular was absolute trash

Pathetic first half. Solid defense, but otherwise we should be down at least 9-0, which look insurmountable with this offense.

Russell Wilson is 5 for freaking 14. It's a joke
