With Gronks game today he not sits at 5,837 yards and 66 TDs

This now places him fourth all time in Patriots history in receiving yards behind:

Stanley Morgan: 10,352 yards

Wes Welker: 7,459 yards

Troy Brown: 6,366 yards

Gronk needs 1 more TD catch to become the All Time Patriots leader in Receiving TDs.

Gronk is also now third among all TEs in history with those 66 TDs behind only:

Tony Gonzales: 111 TDs

Antonio Gates: 101 TDs

This thread isn't solely for Gronk milestones in the history books but for any Patriot player who may be approaching a franchise or league record.

Not exactly chasing history anymore, but Brady threw his 5000th completion today. Fourth person ever to get there, behind Peyton, Brees and Favre.

Also if Gostkowski leads the league in scoring he will have lead the league in scoring in six different seasons, a new record. He will also have done it in five straight, which ties Don Hutsons record going back to the 1940s.

I think realistically Gronk's probably got 3-4 more seasons left in him. I don't think he will beat either record, but he won't be far.

Important to note that Gronk is 27 and still has 10+ games this season. Gates is playing this season at age 36. Gonzo played until he was 37. If Gronk can play another 5-6 solid, not great, seasons I see him securing the TE TD record. Don't see him getting to the yards mark.

Also, Gates and Rivers hold record for QB->TE record at 79. Not sure if all 66 of Gronks are attributed to TB12.

Gates and Gonzales didn't play the way Gronk does. They also never had the laundry list of an injury history that Gronk has. I would love if he played into his mid-30s and had a shot at these records but I feel like he's going to slow down before then and retire.

Agreed Gronks injuries and daddy issues may prevent him from surpassing some of the aforementioned marks. Also TB has said " My favorite receiver is the one that is open ". Gonzo was the absolute primary target this team spreads the ball a lot, the more weapons the less opportunity.

Maybe my math is failing me, but isn't Gronk on pace to get near the TD record, even IF he only plays 4 more years?

He's averaging 11 TDs a year, say he catches 9 more this year that puts him at 75, and if he averages ten for the last 4 years of his career he'll be on 115.

This is why I think he hits the TD mark but doesn't get the yards record. He needs 4-5 solid years left and I think he hits it.

Tom Brady (197) needs four more wins to tie Peyton Manning (201) on the all time win list

Brady will tie Favre for wins by QB at 199, one shy of Forehead Manning

4 more TDs today putting him at 444, which is 10 behind Brees for 3rd All Time. Favre is 2nd with 508. Forehead Manning is first with 539.

Last night's win puts Brady at 200 all time, a joint record with Peyton (at a better W:L ratio).

Another 50 attempt game means Brady has 26 on his career, extending his record (Peyton is second with 17) and his record for 50 attempt wins, 17.

Overall the Patriots are 17-9 when Brady throws 50+ times, the rest of the league is around 100-400 (I had the specific stats but I can't find them).

Anybody still think Gronk is going to hit those records? He'll probably retire before Brady does, as much as I love him.

LeGarrette Blount is 61 rushing yards away from his second 1,000-yard season, and one rushing TD away from tying the Patriots' record.
